Need help choosing a medium.

I going to be doing autos this time around and I never fully learned about what medium is best for my needs. I'm not really worried about yield, I'm more concerned with how the bud burns and tastes.

I really want a clean or earthy taste that burns to white ash. I'm stuck with tap water for this one which isn't what I prefer, but. It comes in around 7.8 ph 225 ppm. I think it's very close to being "hard" water.

3 plants in a row under a sp3000(marshydro) light. About a 2x4 flowering footprint.

I'm stuck between learning an organic water only style or coco coir with organic-ish bottled nutes like Pure Blend Pro. So I'm asking what you guys like to use. This is 100% personal smoke so quality over quantity.

Super soil. Best range of natural plant nutrition without having to add too many nutes. I like to combo super-soil with coco-coir. Great drainage to supplement your soil. Bat guano/kelp/fishmeal are great "compost tea" additives. Just keep an eye on ph and watch 'em go.

Tap water is ok. You can lower pH naturally with peat...or cider vinegar if you get desperate. As far the water ppm, get a water analysis from your water provider and scope it out. Some minerals are ok. Avoid reverse osmosis water.

Bio bizz light mix has served me well for years and I've found no reason to change. Being a perpetual grower,
I grow for my personal med needs and to gift a little....I grow for quality smoke options and clean burning.
