Need help, can you determine sex?

Hi is it still to early for my plant to show signs of sex? its 4 weeks old and is still in veg stage pic shows what has just emerged within the last 4 days.

i added another pic that has a more developed node, the resize made it lose some resolution. but you can still get the basic concept, it is furry and it comes to a point but doesnt resemble a pistil or a hair yet. anymore help?

check every node closely some nodes develope much faster. this is a great picture however it doesnt have enought maturity. Another node higher op will likely show or tell you though

it looks like a girl by the shape its more oval then pod looking. and thats what mine looked like and it was a girl

this is the correct spot to look though correct? also there is few other nodes down lower which are even less developed the highest node is just about as developed as the one in the picture, is it normal for my plant to have 3 leafed leaves at the bottom then it worked its way from 5 to 7 to 9?

plants wont really show sex until you induce flowering.

so being that these are only 4 weeks old, i would say no, this is not a sign of sex but rather what you said, new leaf growth off a main stem.

males show it sooner, but usually about a week or so into flowering you can start to see preflowers and tell the sex of the plant .


as far as your leaf tip count goes, yeah that is fine.

that is the genetic makeup maturing. :) that is a good thing

ok, well i pulled a clone off the plant im going to get it to root then im going to flower it under 12/12 to determine sex of the plant. is this actaully possible to do?

By the time the clone is rooted your plant will have shown its sex even under 24 hours.

if you have 9 blades on your leaves sex is about to show naturally !

i dont know if the way the plant looks has anything to do with it but it is shorter and it is filling out very nice. and has huge leaves

everyone i talked to said it looks like a girl.
but who knows. i figured you guys would know more
although the plant is still young and in veg stage.
