I have 8 of my babies under a 1000w hps and there at a little over two weeks. I am using a small room to grow them with the light about 20 inches over top of the plants. Unfortunetaly the plants are stretching badly to the point where they cant stand on there own but are still growing out rapidly... any suggestions?

use a fan to replicate wind, lower lights, exhaust heat off lights, stake up plants if you have all this going already. what are your genetics?

Yes, definitely get a couple of fans in there to get the air moving around. If possible, lower the light after you put the fans in, if the tops of the plants don't get too hot, this helps to stop the stretching effect as well... Make sure the fans are blowing directly at the plants, and that the plants are moving from the wind. This will help to strengthen the main growing stem, and in a few days time it will have absolutely NO problem at all supporting it's own weight. Good luck to you....
