need help as soon as possible!

okay i used the water in a cup germinating method. and all of them sank, so i left them in there for 12 hours. After that i took them all out and you can see little pointy things that were poking out of the shell. I figured that they are ready to be put in the soil, so i made the soil moist and put them in. Well i dont have a humidifier so i just stuck them in my closet, in the dark. How long should i expect for them to sprout up and should i put them under the light now? I hope i didnt kill them!

you wont kill them they will be fine...the pointy things is the root...the plant is showing life and thats pretty damn fast if u said twelve hours. But anyways I usually put mine under the light (not directly) when I plant them in soil because as soon as that sprout comes up it will need light...as fast as those babies germinated I would give em two to four days and youll see them

i have two other questions. I was just wondering, I found two
other seeds that i must of forgot to germinate, do you think that
i can just put them in the soil? will they grow? and one of
my friends who grows uses the mixture of egg shells with water
is that a good idea?

and check your humidity....if its at least 45 and up you wont have to worry...if its lower you will need to get some type of humidifer because the seedlings will spend more time moving water instead of growing due to the dry atmosphere...that stresses them alot and will cause more boys then girls...peace and good luck

yeah you can germinate straight out of soil if you want...its a method that works...and as far as egg shells the only thing I know about that is my granny always told me plants like egg the reason is still unknown to me so you got me on that buddy lol.

yeah that will work fine if the space is real small...if its a lil bigger you can just wet some real heavy towels and run the humidifier too...or if you have the cash just by a top dollar one.

on friday, and well i dont know what kind they are
but their big. and im scared that if i leave them on
they will start on fire? what are the chances?

well while im waiting, can i just put each of them
under their own "lamp" til the good lights are set up?

btw my bedroom is nice a warm, does that help it?

Damn you guys are getting to it lol...the soil I would recomend is fox farm ocean forest soil...its ph'd and it has alot of shit the plants like with drainage...but even though it has good drainage i recommend getting some extra perlite to add to the mix for extaair to the roots. If they are hid lights the are ok check and see what wattages they are and go to the fuse box in your house and make sure they are not plug into a circuit where every other applaince is...do this by turning the circuits on and off to see what goes off on each one. As long as your making sure no water interacts with electric your good. If your putting them under reg bulbs that fine.

also grab some root succes and when you transplant drop a little in the planting hole then put your lil one in...it makes the roots grow crazy youll see...and dont forget the superthrive for the transplant youll need it to prevent your plants from shock. And dont worry bud I have no prblem with putting two cents in....

the temp shouldnt go no higher the 80 through seedling growth and 85 in veg in.

yes...a digital ph meter is a must and if you guys dont have mylar that too...youllget more out of your lights
