NEED HELP... ALL replies are appreciated

Hello my fellow growers,

I have just started my second attempt at growing and i need some help. I am currently growing White Rhino, Aurora Indica, and a mystery seed that i got for free from Nirvana. The White Rhino is 4 weeks old and the other two are 3 weeks old and I am growing them under a double-tubed florescent light that I plan to upgrade to a four-tube T5 grow light. The problem I am having is that the bottom leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I'm not sure if it is a PH problem, not enough light, or root rot. Also I need some advice on my closet grow setup as well. I tried running a 250 watt HPS but it got too hot in my closet and stressed out the plants, so I went back to fluorescents to veg my girls. But when it comes time for flowering, what can I do to fix the heat problem so I can flower with my 250 watt HPS light. All answers will be appreciated. Thanks.

the one with the brown on the stem looks like you are keeping the top of the soil too wet, the file with 57 kb pic in it.

Looks beautiful!! Perhaps get ready to give a tad more nutes, if the yellowing follows up the leaves. A TAD more nitrogen and make sure the ph is on point. Looks really good tho, all I can say is to be prepared for more light, and flip em before they reach over 15" tall :) Happy groing to ya!

O' btw. The stem shedding skin is a GOOD sign. They only get bigger stems when they are growing and getting ready for the show! Just be sure to let soil dry out completely before watering. dont worry, theyll tell you for a couple days, that they're thirsty, before you really hurt em.

Heat...its a biatch.

There are a few ways that come to mind with the ballast you are using, 1. get some plexi glass if its not already on and make a barrier between the light bulb and your plants. 2. Make seperate vent for the fixture, a ducting from a laundry macine worked for me, as well as a duct fan 4 inch.

Ventilation ventilation and more ventilation that will help you disipate heat. Humidity also helps control the temp. Those wholes in your tent are meant to be used buddy!

also the 2 other posts are right, looks like you are being over zelouse with your water. A plant grows well if there is a balance of all needed suppliments, and growth is hindered if this balance is not maintained.

How frequently do you water your plants?

Looks like a good start! GL

water a bit less feed a bit more , add another fluo tube , place the pots closer to the back panel of the box so to have better reflection

as for the hps heat issue an excaust fan will help , an inline excaust +cooltube system will let u put ur plants like 10-12 cm's away from bulb
