Need help. 1st organic grow... leaves turning yellow!

Seems pretty normal, espically since you are giving them final flushes, so they must be close to harvest. The fan leaves start to yellow because the plant is focusing on trich production in its final days.

Word!
I think you may be right. I used BushMaster for a few days when i flipped them to 12/12... and that stuff has been known to shorten the flowering period in addition to its other effects. So the fact that the Nitrogen thing is happening a little earlier than normal. I can't believe that hadn't crossed my mind before.

I have a lot to learn about this hobby... but learning is so much fun! This is the most rewarding hobby I have ever picked up in my life.

Your in good shape bro. The same thing happened to me but I recognized it as a natural phase in the plants life cycle. Nitrogen is not used as much during flowering phase so thats what caused the yellowing. You'll be able to pluck a few off as well when harvest really gets close.

Hey everyone, I had a question for you.

I just started a grow in my new tent, and I am having an issue with my young plants, and even a clone.

I am using the same organic potting soil from my local garden store that I have used before, mixed with 15% perlite.

1) My Purple Wreck seedlings are sucking balls. I planted these in rockwool on January 6th. They should be WAY bigger by now. The leaves are now turning yellow, and some are dying.

2) My Vortex clone is doing well, but its well-rooted clone is now yellowing badly.

3) My Purple Erkle clone is doing pretty crappy, as well.

4) My GDP teen (trimmer her down to equalize height for flowering down the road) is coming along nicely.

I have been struggling with this crap for the past week. My cab humidity is at 50%, temp is 75ºF, and they are under brand new (as of 3 days ago) 24w 6500k fluros x4.

I did test the soil last night, and the pH was around 7.5... which seemed really high. I added some aluminum sulfate (tiny amount) and that brought the pH back down to around 6.8.

Will this fix my issues? Is this condition consistent with high pH?

Thanks in advance, dudes!

Dnt panic man. So far theyre not too bad, the gdp looks healthy for sure. It is most likely the high ph that caused the yellowing.

Hey OhioSoldier,
Thanks for the encouraging words. I am just worried about the seedlings, as I need to get into flowering within the next two weeks (already been in supposedly post-seedling territory for 2 weeks).

That said, if things turn around in general for the older plants, I should be able to fill my small tent just fine with only 3 or 4 of them.

I am a first time grower looking for some advice. I got a single plant under a 4' T8 light on a 12 on 12 off cycle. The plant is watered with tap water set out for 24 hours. I am using no nutrients as of right now and I spend much time right now reading it Enders Game when it wakes up. My question is that at the 1st set there are some small white off chutes and I am not sure what they are, the plant is a week over a month old.

Are they female preflowers like this one?

They look like very small versions of that yes, and there is a quite distinct smell when you put your nose to it. I am also wondering of the possibility of it being a feminized seed cause of it being from a Cali dispensary. Trying to get some pics up, thanks for the feed back. Also I have the plant in a pot that is about 10 inches in diameter, but I am wondering if the enviroment is to big and if it will cause my plant to grow slower? I'm worried the roots might try to stretch to far or something like that, i guess I'm just being paranoid.
