Need diagnosis

Ok, my plant is starting it's 4th week of life and the leaves at the bottom are starting to wilt and die. The bottom two leaves are just about completely dead, and the 2 above them are starting to show signs they'll do the same.

I was worried about the quality of soil and nutrients used in the planter I received the plant in (it was 2 weeks old) so I transplanted it to fresh garden soil mixed with peatmoss.

I've since used one drop of nutes (10-15-10) in a cup of water and haven't used any other nutrients since. I was worried it might've been the nutes causing the problem so I flushed the new soil.

Only when I flushed the soil did I give it enough water for it to drip out of the bottom.

Is this a heat problem, or am I just not watering the plant enough?

Edit: I was using spring water from a cooler jug, then hose water. Not sure if that screwed up the pH levels but I have nothing to test with yet.

plant doesn't look horrible, though it looks like you need to adjust something
4 week plant should be a lot larger, what are you using for light?

from your location, i'm guessing the temperatures have been on the cool side
i don't know if this will help, but you might put a piece of black plastic under the pot when outside
this will raise the pot temperature, and the plant temp a little
tough to tell if you've got a deficiency going

i can't get a good feel for the problem, plant looks like it's in suspended animation
the garden soil may be a bit thin on nutes, i transplanted a plant from MG to a garden soil that i thought was good
my soil turned out to be way too nute poor for good indoor growing, though i thought it was good

This is the exact soil I used:

It's mixed to about 5:2 with peatmoss. (5 parts soil, 2 parts peat moss).

I'm now watering the plant until the water drips out of the bottom of the planter. If the increase in water doesn't make the plant improve I'll have to rule that out and assume it's either a nutrient imbalance or a bad pH level.
