need an answer light cycles.outdoors.

okay so here's my question.
I am currently using a flashlight to make sure that my plant stays in veg, because where I live, central Florida, it seems like we dont get enough light to keep my plant in veg. So after about 5.5 hours after sunset I take my flashlight outside and mess with the light cycle, so I know for a fact that it in staying in veg, and not flowering. but the thing is i dont kno when plants begin to flower over here in Florida. I need to know this so that I can stop interrupting light cycle and let the plant flower outdoors. Can anybody help me out with this?

Flowering will start anywhere in august. Be careful with that flash light 0.o

I guess ill just check the official sunrise/sunset data when august comes and see if it is 12/12 or damn near.close to it. And if it is then ill quit keeping it in veg with the flashlight. Anyways Thanks for the info.

You can pick up LED driveway lights at Walmart for cheap. Could try a few of those

A flashlight is not keeping your plant in veg. It's in veg because it's still veg season, as has been said. Leave it alone, nature knows what it's doing.

Let nature take over now.... start to flwr in FL in about 4-6wks

I am starting to see white puffs of hair on my indica dom. plants as of yesterday. I have not seen any on my sativa dom. plants as of yet. I usually expect to see them in the first 2 weeks of August. I would not mess with the lights like your doing. You can cause the plant to get stressed and hermie on you. Good Luck Dude. And make sure you vote #YesOn2 in November. Plants don't rely on 12/12 outdoors... They will start flowering around early August when there's still about 14 hours of sunlight.

Do your plants a favor and put away the flashlight.

Well we get 13 1/2 hours of light so technically it would flower if I didnt interrupt the night cycle, and I DON'T WANT IT TO FLOWER YET

Its been showing sex.since.april when I planted it and no sign of hermie whatsoever

indica doms have already started flowering. sativa doms just started flowering. harvest times should be between late september and early november

From your responses to answers, your not wanting it to flower naturally, but wanting to keep into veg till your ready for it to flower. This is a luxury I miss about living in Florida but I don't think the flash light is doing much of anything unless your standing there for an hour or two moving it around the plant the whole time. Even then, all your doing is equivalent to growing inside with a light leak during flower. This will just produce underdeveloped and small buds. To properly do this, you should be in a location where you can set-up a real light source for a couple of hours before sunrise or after sunset. IMO, if you are going to a separate location, all you're doing is risking getting caught. Good Luck.

Ok,this is what I want to know. Im trying to figure out when the flower month/date is, so that I can Stop using my flashlight and my porch light to keep it in veg, because like I said we dont get sufficient light hours to keep my plant IN VEG. Nor do we have sufficient DARK hours to get the plant to Flower... until.. the Flower month/date/time begins here in EAST FLORIDA.. Which, is what I want to know. Does that explain it better?
