I’m trying to sort out my lights, I got 3 COB LEDS equip to 320 w which I’v been told are rubbish & so iv looked at some Mars Pro lights, the rep from Mars Hydro has advised I get 3 Mars Pro II 120 which will make up the deficit & give good coverage in my 6.5’ tent. I’m totally new at this & just want some thoughts from anyone on this before I buy anything else. I just want to make sure I get good results for my girls

Avoid Mars lights. What are the COB fixtures you're using?

They are epistar which iv been told are shit. The guy from the grow shop said they’d be sufficient for my tent size but from everyone’s feedback on here not so. What’s the deal with Mars lights? Do you have any other recommendations?

Mars lights are simply outdated and inferior to other options on the market. What's your budget?

He's trying to get a sale and tell ya ur stuff is OK... (when in reality your cob light could be 3 times better) But look at what I have to offer.

Those Mars lights he has listed are outdated, and overly priced

So my tent is 6.5’x6.5’x6.5’. If I can get some good lights cheap that will be perfect in addition to what I have already then that would be great but if not I’ll pay as much as I need to get it right. I’m just starting with 10 seeds, 4 have sprouted, hoping the rest will come through in next day or 2.

What's the power at the wall? that is what you have to look at. My car has a 345 HP engine. I have 4 tires so therefore do i have 1380 horse power? That is the math the light companies you are reffering to use.

This is what Mars Hydro has said I need

Usually, you need at least 35W/SF for bloom, so the total of lights you need should be at least 1524W. If your budget allows, more powerful 1920W will be better. You have 3 pcs of COB, total is 960W, so lights 564W--960W will work for you.

I recommend 2pcs of proII160 or 3pcs of proII120 to you. If your budget allows, 3pcs of 120 will be best choice for you, because several small lights will distribute light more evenly than one large light. If you use small lights, they will be more flexible in your grow tents.

2pcs of 160 is about 740W, 3pcs of 120 is 810W. You can choose them as your budget, they will be more efficient than one proII 320.

What do you guys think??
