Need advice on setup...newb

So, I've been lurking for a few weeks trying to suck up as much info as possible. I feel like I did when I first started brewing beer...overwhelmed with info!! So forgive me if any of this sounds stupid.

I have an old cabinet in the basement I thought I'd start with. Based on my measurements, I'm pretty sure I can get a 2 ft 4 bulb in there. It's tight, maybe 28 inches by 13 and probably 4 ft high. Was going to line with mylar, set a fan up in there and figured I'd try 1 auto flowering indica plant. I'm trying to keep it simple and as I get basics down upgrade to a bigger setup. Maybe leave this setup for a mother?? What do you all think? Could I get two plants in there? Is the space just too small for anything? Using t5s should I still plan to install some sort of ventilation?

Thanks in advance!! I look forward to many years with you folks!!

It is a small space.. being 13 inches deep might be tough because you may only get a 3 gallon pot in there tightly. Maybe consider a photoperiod instead of an auto. With an auto you kinda let them just go and the cabinet might be too small. With a photo, you can lst, top and supercrop to fill the space properly and then flip it. IMO one plant only in that space. With a tight space you will need some ventilation to keep temp and humidity in check through the phases. People grow in PC cases so even though its small, it still grows bud, just dont plan on a pound...:bigjoint:
