Need advice on setting up an affordable CO2 system

Hi I have an 8' x 4' x 7' grow area. In it I will have 20 plants--with the idea that I will grow many smaller plants instead of a few larger ones. I did this 2 times before and the results were great.

Now my question is what kind of co2 system should I purchase. I just saw a product called Co2 boost that uses organic methods of producing CO2 and distributing it to your plants. One bucket a grow costs $110-$135. I saw it featured in high times. Is this a good way to go, or should I invest the money in a tank system.

Also, with ample CO2, how much of a boost will it be to my over all weight of dry product. For example if I'm expecting 2-3 pounds, is the claims of 75% more or 3.5-5.25 realistic? It seems silly I wouldn't spend a couple hundred bucks for a pound or two more product.

I have a lot of money invested in this new set up, and I think it would be silly not to spend a little more on the air that plants breath.

Please set me straight guys. I've never used CO2 and still had fabulous results. This seems like an easy thing I can do to take things to another level.

Forget CO2. Seriously. The timer setups and solenoids for release during grow times work well with good results. Wait until you have to lug the heavy ass cylinder home. Then back for refill. Those bucket rigs cost way too much for any CO2 provided.

CO2 is not really beneficial until you have everything else dialed in on your gro. 2-3 lbs for a 4x8 sounds like you are ready. 75% more is totally unrealistic. More like 10-30%. I run co2 and love it. But I run sog @ bout 4/sq. ft. so things are pretty tight. I use a gen. tho not tanks. Thinkin bout gettin some tanks for the upcoming a/c season tho.

Get some turbo yeast, water and sugar,a 2litre coke bottle and some 5mm tubing and there's your c02 right there.
I can't remember the ratios but if you look around you'll figure it out.
It's costs very little.

maybe for a cabinet gro.

I am an amateur vinter I know a thing about the co2 yeast produces.

The guy is talking about a 4x8 ft tent/rm pulling 2-3lbs +.

That much c02 would amt to a fart in a skillet.

You shouldn't worry about CO2... I started using CO2 and then stopped after not seeing significant enough results... The plants seemed to grow faster in veg, but I didn't see a difference when it came to buds... combine that with the overall cost of CO2, and the pain in the ass that it was, I just said forget it...

But hey, to each there own... wanna buy a CO2 tank regulator? hardly used.

I was thinking of making something similar to that (without knowing such a product actually exists).

Air pump into a bottle with another pipe coming out of the bottle that feeds the plants c02
Add sugar and yeast, done.
Cost here to make it would be a cheap bucket, some piping and a small fishtank air pump. about R150 total ($15).

Only issue I can forsee with my idea is it may raise the rooms humidity a bit.

I have everything needed, will give it a try and see.
