On a 5 resivor setup with each container holding 5 gallons a 700 or 800 gph danner pump push enough water?

each will really hold more like 3.5 gals. you can go way lower on the pump gph. even if you exchanged the water every 5 minutes, you'd only need 250 gph.

Awsome, i will eventually upgrade to larger totes in future after reading about ph issues in small containers

Just a 3-500gph one. Submersible will work, but an inline will decrease the heating of your water

buy a bigger pump. try to guess what your water volume will eventually be and base it on that.

if you think it might be as much as 50 gallons, multiply by 12 (every 5 minutes) and that would be 600gph.

Sorry guys i know i got alot of questions just wanna get it right the first time, so pump has 1/2 outlet will it be sufficient to pipe waterfalls in 1/2 black hose?
