Need advice for grow boxes

Does anyone have any advice on how to make a custom grow box big enough for 1-3 plants. I was thinking about trying to make one out of 2 plastic totes (one on top & one on the bottom) to make one big grow box but idk if that will work out. Also how would I work out exhaust/intake? If you have any advise on any better ideas please tell me, I just want something that looks like it belongs in a closet like totes or something, Thank You

PC fans will work for intake and exhaust just cut a big enough hole for them as for lights if your doing it that way then I'd recomend using CFL lights

Would the CFL work for flowering or just for veg? Oh and how many would you suggest I will need? Thanks

yes 6500k is for veg and 2,700k is for flowering

how tall will it be at max for your grow space?
how wide
how long

they will double or even triple in size when put into flowering depending on their strain.

24/0 , 20/4 , 18/6 = veg
12/12 of light = flowering

3 per plant and 2700k cfls will work fine for flowering and 6500k for veg

Ok thanks alot for the advice now I just gotta get the fans and a few more CFL's and then I can start building it

if you can get white paint for the inside to help reflect the light or reflectors for the lights

Oh and idk how tall it will be but I was just going to get 2 large totes from the attic so I hope that it will be high enough.

Yeah I have white reflective paint

If you wanna be truely stealth, take the totes and put the lids on them. Trace an outline of lid of the bottom one around the bottom of the top one. (confusing I know)

Then cut 1-2" less than that outline from inside your tracing and glue the top one to the bottoms lid. now you have a "rule" to cut out the bottom of the top.

This avoids light leaks and gives you maximum height from the totes.

Now peirce a couple (drill) 1/4" holes along the side that faces the closet wall this is your intake. Drill a small pattern of holes the same size in the lid of the top one and mount your fan underneath it. You will probably have to put a false item on top of this to hide it as well.

Hope that helps. I would imagine you could put 5 or so of those bulbs in a tote that size and if vented enough you shouldnt have big problems with the temp.

Use the fustion paint maid for plastic.
Put 2-3 coats of black then 3 coats of flat white should have no glow from the box .
I used 8 CFLs Daylight bulbs on for 24 hrs a day then warm white for 12 /12 .
I used a 6 " booster fan with several layers of carbon air filter material for odor didnt work to well for smell. 6 m2" passive air intake at the bottom with elbows for light trap
I ended up with 2 Titanic and 3 bag seeds at the end 3 oz dried

Thanks for the info man good thing I didnt get to painting it yet, Ill run by lowes or H.D and pick up some of that paint. And hybrid Ill use that idea with the vents I didnt think about that.
