Need advice for CFL type

you can use the 55-65w cfls in that fixture and they are around 10-18$ a bulb . I am using 55w bulbs and the buds are solid.

I'm sure you can grow good buds with cfl's, the question is how many bulbs did it take to achieve that, consider how many bulbs and how many amps you you are using, compared to my T5 putting out the same amount of lumens.

What you have now is ok for vegging, just needs to be a lot closer to the tops of the plants.

CFL's do work but you need a serious amount of them to compete with a HPS setup. Though for a veg area CFL's or t5's are both pretty effective.
