Need advice about maturation

I am limited to one more week of flowering due to unexpected occurances. I am asking anyone experienced, I am about two weeks away from at least 50% color change. I need to harvest in another week-no ifs ands or buts about it. My question is; If I increase the number of hours of darkness by one hour everyday, for the next 5 days, willl this techniques bring my plant closer to my goal of 50% color change in 5 days if im only at about 10% color change currently. This is what the out line will look like; Tuesday-11/13 Wednesday-10/14, Thursday-9/15, Friday-8/16, Saturday-7/17. Im very embarrased about having to cut my plant early, and I want it to be at least more potent than schwagg.
Anyone willing to help is worthy of rep power.

Check the trichs, if all are still clear then its a waste of time, but if you have at least some cloudy then you should have some that should get the trick done. I would go with longer darkness period, not more light period, you'll confuse the plant and it will stress it. Thats why you go with a shorter light period when you flower.

Sorry I dont have the experience but I was told if you increase the hours of light will help it mature faster
Who told you that? thats bs, If you guive light for more than 12 hours it will destroy the chemical being made during the dark period, and revert back to veg cycle. Im not sure if giving less light will speed up the maturity, but it will for sure slow bud growth.

Oh yeah, I just remembered, some growers say that turning lights off completely for the last 48 hours makes the plant grow bigger buds because the plant thinks it's dying, so you could try that.

Darkness controls the flowering period, the amount of light isn't as significant. The *entire* darkness period being fulfilled is the absolute most important aspect.

You can push darkness to 13/11 hours, some even have done 14/10 with success. Then there's the Grow FAQ which suggests a 32 hour(roughly) 'day' period or 20/12(roughly) will increase yield, perhaps substantially.

Interesting. Do you think that the plant will mature quicker though? Im on a light schedule of 10/14 tonight.
