I don't know man I pretty much learned how to grow weed on these forums and it was pretty simple. It really isn't that hard to figure out who knows their shit and who's full of shit. I think you get a lot of 17 year old kids from denver on these forums with no money or real plans just fucking around

And kids this is what you get when you have an open forum - a magnet for self righteous, know-it-all pricks.
And you are the biggest self righteous knowitall shit dick in the history of riu... gratz. How many threads have you locked champ?

Uncle Ben.....I love ya man...I really do, and I give you credit for much of my improvements in my grows.

Unlike you though, I don't share your disdain for growers of other faiths. I believe that hydro is a good way to go for large grows with knowledgeable growers at the helm.

Personally, I don't get hydro for home-grows though. The simple task of getting water and nutrients to the plant is easiest with soil. Hydro does the same task with many more moving parts....and with any moving part, there's a 100% chance that sooner or later it will fail.
How often do you have to mix up nutes and water your plants? I have done nothing but sit back and enjoy watching my plants grow for the last 10 days. When I change the res in 2 weeks all I do is turn a valve to automatically pump the water into the tub then turn the sink on to fill it back up. My moving parts and points of failure consists of a single $30 waterpump... so yea... not worried.

I see commercial ops all the time. I'm not talking cannabis 400 s.f. rooms. I'm talking 20 acres of greenhouses and none of them do hydro. They ALL grow in potted soil. One local grower sells to the Home Depot, Lowes and Walmarts across the country. That blooming poinsettia you just bought for ma came from these guys.

WTF do poinsettias and other retail plant nurseries have to do with growing medical grade weed? You can't even GIVE outdoor away on the west coast. I see guys selling ten packs of their Outdoor "kind bud" for $8,000. Time to leave shit hole Texas and see what is going on in the left coast. Outdoor, much like your antiquated growing methods, is dead

Cartels and meth heads. That's who grows outdoors

No Offense but outdoors isn't dead or bad. You'd have to be a fuckin idiot to not see the benefit of outdoor growing. shit I wish I could grow outdoors as well as indoors.

I've seen and smoked outdoor buds leagues better than most indoor. All indoor means is more control, more cost, and less yield potential.

This post is bullshit! I've seen large grows on both scales (indoor/outdoor), and outdoor growers who know what the fuck they are doing (in the right climate) can kick ass in yield and potency, period. These are growers that are supplying Medical Dispensaries that have strict guidelines regarding quality medicine. legallyflying, go ahead and keep up this kind of stupid shit and you'll lose credibility.

Sour grapes.....and so goes the lollipopping sucking, snake oil addict. What you can't have, you diss. Done 'em both...give me outdoor anyday. It's a no brainer.

Give me a 5 gal. pot of soil, I'll run an emitter into the pot off of one of my irrigation lines, add a small handful of Polyon 18-4-8 and let nature do the rest.....finish 'em up with 7' trees. Easy peasy.

Haze anyone?

No? How 'bout some of Sagamartha's Peak 19 that I back crossed? Sho did brought out the Colombian. ;) Not for the faint of heart......

UB not everyone wants to take 3 months to veg a tree in soil. Undercurrent produces some of the fastest growth possible and is not for beginners or those wishing to keep it stupid simple. I actually find it kinda weird you always hang out in the advanced section and detest anything advanced. You are good at the basics and simple setups... hell you have mastered the basics. But this is the advanced section where people go beyond a bucket of dirt and the great big hps in the sky.

Don't forget growers who veg their plants inside before planting outside, reducing the veg time (If desired). I'm not UB, but go hang out in what you might call the "Simple" places on RIU. Many of those who spend time on those Threads are people who have made growing weed complicated because they won't do any damn research before throwing a bean in the ground. Personally, I find the simplicity in the Advanced section, refreshing, because people get tired of the bullshit.

Also, you've made it clear that growing Hydro is super easy! So why are you here in the Advanced section?

So why are you here in the Advanced section?
To discuss advanced topics like UVB lighting, plant communication through root systems, and advanced training and canopy management techniques. Unfortunately it's more of a sandbox for UB to shit in as you can see by the dozens of derailed and locked threads.

RIU needs to bring back neg rep.

Yeah, it was on the early side of done...it flowered 14 weeks and was harvested with milky trics.
You don't owe the village idiot an answer. Looks good to me, plus who am I or anyone to judge when someone's faves are "ready". I'd say you know what you're doing. Those are some fine plants. Any one that can keep a plant healthy and green, still retaining fan leaves, after 14 weeks of flowering is to be commended. ;)

There is a 2 week or so window of "readiness". Since shithead will not post his pix, it's easy (and shallow) to criticize someone else's work. Come on Mal, post YOUR garden, not someone's you stole from IC Mag.

UB,

Ya know its easier to tear something down than to contribute and build something up. But we all know hydro is just so much better! I mean fuck outdoors because it's not like the plant knows how to do its own thing!

And who steals others photos with out citing source? That's just common courtesy.

ETA very nice Cooter. I'd totally partake in that early sativa.
