Yea I was clone king -then I had an incredible string of misshaps- went to seed for years.

I must have offed 500 clones at least. Circut breaker trips, plugs fell out, left unplugged, blew out the outlet, mechanical timer got stuck, sprayers all plugged-get the picture? :)
I never had any issues. The cloner worked great. I just don't grow at that scale anymore. That was years ago. I stay within my limits these days. It's just a hobby for personal.

LOL My limits lasted about 6 months- Now 4k+ I'm running around like a headless chicken- We are growing a garden full in a small bedroom. I could spend 2 hours every day on it and not be 100% on schedule. Plus it isn't here, so to tend I've got to travel.

Ok, everyone, 95% are using sprayers?

HOW?!?

Mine plugged by 50% most every time I actually looked, I was careful cleaning and filtering, but they always plug. You change out weekly? Drill them out? 500 psi pump? Full of shit? Some unknown supplier of plug-proof sprayers?

Like kiddy pool size lol.Have a soak in the cloner.Ha.Ill shut up now.
If the kiddie pool could mount vertically I'm in. No, I've got it closer to getting to be figured out, but I'm trying to fit a jillion clones in a small area or I'd use a flood table......hmmmmm (underneath a flood table)

I use a bubble cloner now I've never had any problems with it so far, it's as easy on maintenance as you can possible get, I fill it with tap water put the clones in and leave it for a couple of weeks... job done, fk even if the air pump packed in they'd likely still root, if they didn't root they certainly wouldn't die providing you have the tip of stems submerged.

I love my DIY bubble cloner for all the above reasons.

i clone in rockwool with this
1621281375080.pngand a glass pan on it (no plexiglas etc.. !)
thats the cleanest cloner i ever used plus its cheap

just let the glass cracked on a side from a few mm, depending on the fog you get on the glass

you can do 150 clones easily (i use the 77 plug trays)

every 2-3 days you open to water the plugs. just immerse it in a layer of solution lighthly dosed in nutes, in another tray
never saturate the plugs its the key of success

and diffuse light also, 6 on 2 off. low lumens

they will all be rooted in 8 days if you are dialed. they must be perfectly healthy when they root, if they yellow/droop look again your parameters

a i forgot .. if its cold where you live, heat mat is a must. just use a 15min steps timers to rurn it on/off. dial the temp inside with a temp gun.
you want around 24 degree on the plants

you can clone in cold rooms with this method

I made a small dollar store warming tray with dome...a few cups and bottle caps...no pumps or sprayers :P
I put 1 to 5 cuttings in each cup...so I get 6-30 clones per 10" x 13".

I also cut the rockwool in half to help with it staying too wet for long.
