Hey dudes,

Ever since I set this 4K grow up I've been having trouble with my plants. This has been on-going since I began and I cannot seem to figure out what it is so I'll break it down for you.

FFOF with perlite in 10 Gallon bags

Nutrients used in 5 GALLON containers hand-watering:
- Earth Juice up to 3 tablespoons
- Pure Blend Pro up to 3 tablespoons
- CalMag Plus up to 2 tablespoons
- Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed up to 3 tablespoons
- Sugaree up to 3 tablespoons
- Kool Bloom week 1 and week 6
- Insect Frass sometimes

I PH this using Baking Soda to 6.8-7. PH in Soil is good and runoff PH is good. Temps/humidity is fine.

I can't seem to figure out why my leaves are continuously dying. First they start with yellowing spots, burned edges, then brown/black spots, curing up. It happens in lower, middle and top leaves. They turn and die fast and it sucks.

This is affecting all strains now and in the past few months:
-Blueberry Jack
-BlackJack
-Cherry Jack
-THC BOMB
-Super Lemon Haze
-Suzy Q high CBD
-ACDC high CBD
-StarDawg
-CandyLand
-XJ-13
-Critical Jack
I have tried upping the CALMAG dosage with no fix. I've also increased Pure Blend.

*White spots in images are from milk/water I sprayed them with to prevent mildew.

I know this is decreasing my yield but my bud is coming out TOP SHELF which is good.

Anyone know what the hells going on? I appreciate any feedback, doctors.

The leaves are pretty messed up - However they are good enough to last long enough to finish up. Better luck next time...
No idea what caused that to happen...

Baking soda....dont use that shit man...too much sodium. Its killing your plant.Get some dynagro protect and use that all you need is a few drops. It takes some experimenting with how much youll need as you need to add it to water first before anything else, but It works good.Much more beneficial then the standard potassium hydroxide, bit even that works much better than sodium. You have rampant nutrient lockouts due to high rootzone salinity.Thats my guess.

Dang! I didn't know the baking soda could cause this. When I use full nutes at week 5-6 I am using about a whole tablespoon of baking soda. Hah I'm guessing that is it too. Could be from too many nutrients in the soil as well. I know Ocean Forest is hot but I gave it time to settle in. My PPM's were good tho. I'll cut back on nutes and baking soda. Thank you!

Really? I've always added something with it a couple weeks after the plants get used to the soil. So there's enough CalMag and everything already in Ocean Forest?

Lose the baking soda... They looked cooked, I use FFOF too, are you using RO water? Why so much cal mag?

What's up with the milk? Why not just lower your humidity and add a fan or two?

Yes, really. You have dark green leaves with yellowing and leaf tip death, all signs of over feeding. In 15 years of reading these forums, I've never heard of anyone using baking soda. The soil doesn't settle in. It's ready to use right out of the bag. So much seaweed is helping your plants die. Not sure where you got the ideas to go nuts with ferts, but don't do this next time.
