Need 5 different strains for my next grow! Need Some Advice

i want to start this thread by saying thanks to RIU and all the GREAT people in RIU, because if it wasnt for u guys i wudnt be smoking my home grow,,, and nothing beats that!!


ok so at the moment i have 3 little white widow seeds that sprouted, and i need 4 more strains for my second grow wich will be a SOG,


i want 4 different strains that have different effects, i dont want to build a tolerance! i want different unique smokes,

basically what im looking for is a VERY POTENT strain that will give me a CREATIVE high, i am a music producer and i want to provide my artists with some very good BUDS before we record i want something that will give me a creative edge, any suggestions for that strain???


and the second strain that i want is something that will knock me on my ass!, something that will be good to smoke at night before i go to sleep, something very relaxing! i want it to be extremely potent!


and also i want a strain that will make me laugh and giggle! something that me and my friends can just smoke while watching SOUTH PARK or FAMILY GUY , i smoke around half an oz. every day so im very seasoned, and its been a while that ive had a laughing/giggly effect,


and i also want a strain that will give me a euphoric/phsycadelic high, somthing that will make me feel like im in a cartoon or some trippy effect!


finally i want a strain that looks really really PRETTY! hahaha this strain i will be growing for my sister! she wants a strain that has alot of pretty colors haha! it has to look pretty but still be very POTENT! any suggestions??

ok so ive done alot of looking around and i think i have a pretty sold idea of what i want, I STILL NEED ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS THO!


ok so for the EUPHORIC high im leaning towards BLUEBERRY, im planning on ordering from ATTITUDE, i know that DJ short has the original blueberry strain, i also read that dj short gave the blueberry genetics to Dutch Passion, so at the moment DJ short is outta stock, they dont have blueberry or true blueberry, so i guess ill go with the next best thing, so what do you guys say about DUTCH PASSION BLUEBERRY??? im going to buy 5 feminized seeds for 60$, hopefully this strain will give me the euphoric/phsycadelic high that i want!!!


and ive been looking at Barneys LSD, that looks like some good stuff!, that says that it gives a phsycadelic high and its supposed to take u up in the clouds haha, and 5 feminized seeds for 36$ seems pretty reasonable! so i got nothing to lose!

and i know that i want to buy a strain from SUBCOOL, ive heard nothing but great things about TGA SUBCOOL, jack the ripper seems killer, but the deep purple looks equally tempting, i just need help chosing a strain from SUBCOOL cause i gotta have at least 1 of his strains!! i just need some advice and input on what you guys think is the best strain from SUBCOOL, i want something extremely potent, all my friends are heavy smokers and they smoke og kush, sour diesel, and other good strains, so i need somthing that will really hit them hard!!!


so i kind of made my list by myself, now i just need some suggestions on what SUBCOOL strain to get!,,,,

but for right now Dutch Passion Blueberry and Barney Farms LSD are my picks, i just need some input on Subcool strains,

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

White Russian - Perfect genetics for the real cannasseur

Amongst the white strains, White Russian is one of the oldest and most sophisticated. We are talking here about a serious, professional piece of breeding work, not one of those crap seed varieties hastily cobbled together from inferior genetics and labled white for commercial reasons by some amateurs. No, it`s about the real mighty White Russian coming straight from one of Holland`s breeding halls of fame: Serious Seeds. Simon, the breeder, has done a fantastic job with White Russian, making it a popular figurehead of his seed bank right from the beginning.

Let us take a closer look at its genetics. White Russian is a stable mostly indica cross of Serious Seed`s AK-47 and the famous White Widow. These two giants of cannabis breeding history were merged into a new mega species that produces very consistent plants of medium height and dense, heavily resinous flower tops with very few leaves. White Russian is one of the strongest varieties available: For an independent seed comparison in the 90`s, 150 different strains were grown in a greenhouse. With 22% THC, White Russian turned out to be the most potent plant in this test cultivation. One could argue now, okay, White Russian is award decorated and everything, but that`s almost a decade ago, what about its actual capacity nowadays? A legitimate question that I decided to give an answer to. An up-to-date White Russian cultivation test should reveal its present quality as a seed strain.

An experienced grower called Cloudz conducted this project, using eight original White Russian seeds. All of them germinated very well and were grown at first under a MaxGrow (Germany) energy-saving lamp with 115 watts and full spectrum, what resulted in very compact growth with lush green leafs. Cloudz used six litre pots with soil mixture. 2.5 weeks after germination, the plants were moved to the actual grow room, where they received 600 watts of light from a high pressure sodium lamp, at a daily light cycle of 18 hours. What stroke the eye from the beginning on, was the remarkable uniformity of the plants. They actually looked like clones, there were almost no differences in height, width, colour and leaf structure. About four weeks after germination, Cloudz induced flowering by shortening the light cycle to 12 hours. Four plants turned out to be female, the male ones were discarded.

During flowering, two types of bud formation were revealed by the plants: Both were very dense and resinous (though not as resin-crusted as White Widow), having quite few leaves. But the first type grew a little bit higher and had colas that were more long-drawn, while the colas of the shorter second type were more roundish. The single yield of the four plants, however, did not differ very much, with the respectively best plants of each type yielding almost exactly the same. They all looked awesome at the end of flowering, loaded with thick beautiful buds all over the plants, from the very bottom to the tip. These tight flower clusters felt rock hard and promised a most rewarding harvest. The only thing that didn`t go according to plan was the fact that all of the four plants exceeded the expected flowering time of 56-63 days by five days, finally reaching maturity after 68 days, when 70-80 % of the stigmas had withered and turned orange. Well, these additional five days of waiting did not really hurt, considering the superb cannasseur quality of the buds and the extra grams of weight that were produced in the last five days. The harvest amount ranged from 40 to 51 grams, quite sensational for a variety that was grown from seed, cultivated in soil and left in the vegetative state for a standard period of time. Apart from that, the flowers effused an extraordinary strong honey aroma that had adopted an also fruity scent after the drying process. Already in the vegetative state, the plants are developing a strong smell, so take good care about proper air control.

Cloudz was all on edge when it finally came to smoking the White Russian buds. And wow... the effect was even better than he had expected, heavily potent, hard-knocking and stony, but also somewhat cerebral at the same time. One or two bong hits, and he was done for a while. The high would last for hours, often causing fits of laughter. Cloudz estimated the THC content at not less than 20%, clearly noticing the extraordinary strength of White Russian, and I agreed with him. The aroma of the smoke was very fine, too, offering a smooth, full-bodied sweet taste. The grower was overwhelmed by the overall quality of his four White Russian ladies, never before he had experienced quality homogeneity on such a high level, fantastic in both appearance and potency. No doubt, White Russian today still has its firm place among the world`s best cannabis strains.

ive always had my eye on white russian cause i mean its WW x AK 47, and we all know about those strains!
i kind of thought it was some knock off and wudnt be as potent,
but after the amazing thins ive heard about it recently it seems like some killer stuff!!

anybody have experience smoking White Russian??? describe the high please if uve smoked it,

or if u have some other strain that u think i shud grow please let me know!!
what im looking for is something that is extremely potent and will give me a high quality buzz,
i smoke around half an oz. every day so i need something that will have the capability of really getting me fucked up!

My white russioans will be harvested some time after next 14 days... guessing maybe 17,,,, hopefully my Christmas eve smoke will be some of my own white russian... the plants are medium height with multiple colas....

I just had the pleasure of trying dna's chocolope. It is my new favorite. The high is great but not not knock you on your butt so you can still do things.

ive heard good things about DNA Genetics, i just need a very strong potent strain that will knock me on my ass, something super potent, that white russian looks really nice,, i would like to hear about more strains like this,

I've tried TrainWreck before and that shit definitely knocked my ass OUT! no shit man, I dont even want to ever grow it because I aint into those kinda highs lmao...it was that crazy.

I'm diggin Mandala's strains. I'd check'em out.

Serious seeds are very very respected by anyone who has ever grown their stuff.

I personally have never ever been let down by their genetics and have grown over 100 of their seeds in my lifetime, my lowest ever germ rate with them is 10/11. Plus serious created both ak47 and white russian. So its pretty hard for it to be a knock off.

TH seeds has a lot of good strains. Most anything with SAGE as a parent is going to be pretty good.

lsd is a nice smoke man take a look at blz bud it is that night time bud u wanted and the haha weed look at hawaiian snow creamea blue is nice bluberry ukrain hash plant hybrid

Th seeds do have some nice looking strains, but i've had some bad experiences with them, i've grown probably 5 different packs of their seeds and only 1 pack turned out with a good percentage and I know a few other people that didn't get on with it either, they also have a bad rep on some other forums for their strains not being much like the description.

shit..everything I've ever had from them was fantastic. Check out Mandala seeds. Don't be turned off by the prices, it's good shit. Read up.
