about 15 to 20 feet away from my creek i will dig about 4 or 5 foot in the grownd and the water will seep out the hole i dug so its pretty much well water plus as the water passes through the dirt and sand it cleans the water and i'm gonna use this hollowed tree to stash my 1 gallon jugs and thats bout it on the water supply what do ya think

but if i get the water directly from the creek i could get a bacterial or fungi problem at my grow the sand and dirt filters the water and if you dig your well in a non contaminated are you could even drink from that water just flush it before every use

Trust me your getting too carried away with thinking about watering the plants.

Get water from the creek and water them.

I gotta agree with Dirtyboy on this one. If you are concerned with pesticide residue then you potentially have a serious problem with your water source. But, if you can simply dig a hole as you suggested and it fills with water then you have your water source. Your plants roots do not require any sort of "filter." Don't make it any harder than it has to be. This is one tough weed. Sometimes less is more.
