Hey guys,

I'm on my 2nd grow now and I use the NFTG adanced line with the addition of Bloom Khaos with FFFOF/20% perlite as my medium. During both grows ive noticed that about 2 weeks into flower my gals start to have some general yellowing that effects the top most leaves first and slowly works it's way down the plant. I know some general yellowing occurs during flower but 2 weeks seems way to warly. Temps, humidity light distance and ventilation are all in check so these are not a factor. My thoughts are that I am feeding my plants to much NFTG. My feed schedule is every 2 to 3 days (depending on soil moisture) I will first feed according NFTG recommended feeding chart and then the next watering will just be molasses or water (ph is 6.2 to 6.4). My thoughts are that the slow release nutrients in the FFOF combined with a full feed of the NFTG is causing a lock out.

Those who use FFOF with NFTG, what is your feeding schedule like? Or any recommendations on my current schedule?

Im using bushdoctor coco loco and nectar and getting better results than anything else ive seen. All i can guess is that your ph is off. Do you mix your nutes for a minute before you check the ph. Andi almost never do straight water. If anything i feed at 75% of what the chart says. I get the yellow on one strain but it starts halfway through flower. It doesnt seem to cause problems with the nuggetry so i dont try to fix it.

Then you aren't amending your soil properly and/or are using too much salt nutrients. Use more lime or oyster shell next time.
Or i could just stick to my coco haha. Thanks yoda. I am not amending my soil at all. Andnectar is pretty low on salt if any.
