Howdy all,
I have some lil girls that have some weird blotches on them and the tips of her leaves seem to be dryin up.

They are about 8 weeks old, under cfl and outside 16hr light. In foxfarms soil,(perlite lil pete moss lil dolemite lime also) only one shot of nutes, which was 1/2 strength(big grow) one month ago. PH is at 7( Im working on getting it down a few points) I gave them a spray of neems oil 2 weeks ago then few days after put some Take down garden spray(pyrethrins/canola oil) and then a few days later the spot started to develop. I waited a few days, sprayed a few times with just water...and it still gets worse. I tried to cut off the spots, and would find them one another part the next few days.. any Ideas:eyesmoke:

if you spray your plants with ferts/nutes and have your lights too close to your plants it will produce the burn spots you observe there. move your lights away..

Hi thx for responding,

Well the few times I did spray them was right before the dark cycle. Besides they still get worse when I dont spray...it seems like its something else to me.

You should only be spraying neem oil if you have a problem that needs to be treated with neem oil... it is a bio-pesticide! Did you say you had them outside for 16 hours & cfl?

ill bet she's hungry if you havent been feeding her for a month.
I was wondering that myself....I waited cause they have been transplanted(1gallon-3 gallon) into foxfarms soil 3-4 weeks ago so I didnt want to over do it but next watering(2-3days) Im going to give them a shot of big grow.

Thx DGM

Yap I had some aphids show up so I gave them a splash. I didnt use much, the recommended amount and just 1 time before they went to sleep.

I started them in feb, under cfls 16 hr light then as the sun started to shine(march) I would take them out in the morning then at 5pm it would get dark and I finish off the lightcycle(3-4 hrs) with cfls....then do it again the next morn...and so on. Im hoping to plant them in a month outside.bongsmilie

Thx
DGM
