NC magic mushroom laws

I've heard a rumor about a change in North Carolina laws regarding magic mushrooms. I've done a bit of googling without much in the way of answers. Can anyone enlighten me about this?

A good friend of mine from HS recently invited me down to his house in FL. He moved there a few years back, I was heavily considering going down there and doing some hunting and picking but now I have a change of heart bc I have to travel threw NC going there and on the way back .Now, correct me if I am wrong, but they grow naturally in NC yes? This seems pretty harsh for something that grows common in that region! Good lord that is scary! Now, I hear New Mexico people can legally grow mushrooms? Anywhoo heres all the actives in NC. I wonder if them hillbilly ass cops even know what they look like?

I think in nearly every state there at least a handful of psychedelic mushrooms that grow natural. Think that stops the feds, no.

And theres lots of states with wild hemp, which is identified by feds as MJ, still illegal. I believe psychedelics are illegal bc of the profound revelations you under go on them, you start to see the pure truth in the universe, and begin speaking your mind, speaking out against things. remember LSD used to be legal, seems they made it illegal once people started getting organized and speaking out. There is much more in the way of politics affecting our laws, and ultimately the way we live our lives than just, "these things are detrimental to our health, and will make you crazy" as the gov't says. Im at the point where if the gov't told me the damn sky was blue, I'd seriously question it, they lie to us daily to keep their lives, and operations going the way they like. and the ppl like us ultimately suffer

if i grew some it would be for personal use and close friends only. you dont want to have an oz of them then it can go federal on you. you dont want 20 years federal. and if you live within 2 miles of school and have 1 gram they can charge you in federal court.

If I were a government, influenced by big business that found that there was a substance that caused people to see the truth behind the propaganda and mistruths propagated by my conglomeraton, depending upon the people to believe a certain way, needing them to look in the direction I was pointing.... I would immediately make those substances illegal and promote any drug that tended to make that same population stupid, compliant and ignorant.

Can't have them doubt the sanity of the system they are immersed in - baaad idea. I suspect that hallucinogenic users are poor consumers and have a certain immunity to commercialization and half truths either from the government or from those who most profit from our BEING good consumers.

Right on! I could not agree more. This is why watching TV while shrooming is impossible. "I can see the fnords!"
