NC House Bill 1380--The Medical Marijuana Act!

Hey might just be a rumor , but I have heard that the NCGA will be hearing this bill on Dec. 1st 2009 . Dont quote me on this. But its worth researching. I know its not on their docket to be heard . But from all the legal scuddle butt it will be heard on this date .
Sounds to me like another one of big brothers attemps to treat the general public like a bunch of mushrooms . ( Lets keep it off the docket till the last minute so no supporters will assemble in support of this bill ) . WTF
 
Dang I'm almost 4 hours from the pancakes, agh. Maybe I can mail them my six bucks ;) I wish it was closer to Eastern NC. (For that matter I wish there was a hydro store closer too lol!!)

Speaking of...we should set an official RIU meeting time so everyone arrives at the same time (Greendude and Newport mentioned this recently). It's gonna be a long drive for me, but I'll be there whenever the group wants to arrive. Maybe 9am (the fundraiser goes from 7am-10am)? How does that sound? I'm amenable...

hey all, sorry i havent been in on the fun. i just finished up school in august and my move to central nc. hows the bill coming along? i went to the website and its not showing any news since april? i really really hope this works out, i really cant afford/nor do i want to move to a medical state just to be safe from the "man". i hear you guys are talking about a rally or somthing at the coast? please update me with the details if its not to much trouble, im in the process of washing both of my dogs and cleaning the house so i cant read back and piece together all the info right now. thanks, and ill keep praying the bill passes!

Applebee's is such a weird place for this to be held! I worked for Applebee's in the past for like 7-8 years, lol. I can't imagine having a pancake breakfast like this in one. ...do they know what we ultimately want? bongsmilie :eyesmoke::D

Well all I have to regrettably say I cant make it this weekend. My mother-inlaw passed Yesterday morning . But I will be there in spirit .
