Natural light cfl's?

Anyone using them? I just bought one for 1.99 on sale at the local hardware store. Im also running 4 t-12 flouros along with it.

I tryed it once in my fish tank, didn't turn out to well. maybe its because i had two of them, but it took over a month for them to grow 10cm. then again it does matter how much watts it is. how much watts urs?

It's just a 60watt. But i have 4 t-12's ecolux running with it.

cfl are like 60-70 lumen a watt i think so 60x60 so thats 3200 lumens at worst. so it'll do you a sq foot. why not keep it up

i forgot what the rule was i think that its supose to be like 3000lumens a sq foot.

Yes but i have it sitting directly in a tinfoil lined box. The setup is a bit kewl looking i might say. I think i'll pick up a couple more tommorrow.
