Hello,

this is my first post and I would like to know if this is a good 150w led or or not (searched here for nanolux leds but didnt find much. so sorry if already answered):

Nanolux Led RG 150W
Data Sheet

Or better keep a ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro (2024) ? (which was way too expensive in germany vs. us)

Greetings from Germany

Looking at the specs, it's a middle of the road LED, it uses LM 301D diodes, which are not quite as good as the LM301B or 301H. It's dimmable, which is good, the specs look decent. It does have UV and IR. Looks kinda pricey for the coverage you get, but I don't know what the market is in Germany.

First of all, thanks for the reply.

Prices are ridiculous high in germany since april (decriminalization).
The Vipraspectra mentioned above is >200€ (in eu, while its 120$ or less in us), which doesn't specify used leds, not even in the horrible manual (so I would assume they're nothing special).
After I realized the huge price difference I'm not sure if I should keep this lamp or pay 60-70€ more and maybe get better quality. They both cover about the same size (60x60cm - 80x80cm [~2x2 ft - 3x3 ft]).
But if there isn't much difference between those two I wont bother anymore and keep the vipraspectra (could send this one back till mid june).

Best regards

My VS which is a P2000 uses 301H, I believe the XS15 is the same.

Check out SpiderFarmer. Phlizon is cheapest but their bar style isnt terrible. SF is the best imo.

thanks for your reply,

They have a XS and a XS Pro series (so XS1500 isnt XS1500 Pro)
Their webpage lists 301B for the XS1500
and nothing for the XS1500 Pro
the "Pro" variant is the cheapest of these, where they dont list any used leds, so I would assume these are not samsung ones (or cheaper variant). All in all it's quite confusing (also it seems >200€ is way to high).

XS Pro

XS

Also the nanolux says it uses top bin leds only, which confuses me more, as I'm not sure if there's much difference between say top > high > mid (not sure how different qualitities are called, so I used high and mid as example) of a specific led

is it like e.g.:
301B (top) > 301H (mid)
301D (top) = 301B (mid)
301H(mid) > 301B (high)
??

Will check out spiderfamer and how much they cost

edit:
e.g.
ridiculous prices
Viprasprectra US:
XS 1500 = 130 $ / about 120€
XS 1500 Pro = 110$ / about 101€

Vipraspectra EU:
XS1500 (2023 variant) = 250 €
XS1500 Pro (2023 variant) = 250€

wtf?? alone this is a reason not to buy this thing
