nanners...question

Keep plucking. They are nutrient thieves and pollen can hang around and fuck up your crop next time too.

I just recently found exactly 1 seed in my 1 White lotus plant. I searched constantly for nanners but never saw any.Maybe it was missed.
You would think that there would be more seeds produced with all the pollen that comes from 1 nanner.(if i did overlook)
Looks identical to the rest of my White lotus seeds.
Plant had purple stems on all large leaves and thc down to the main stem.
Description for this strain was right on the money.Warm hashy, and potent.I will save that seed for last.

Just stumbled across this thread as I am dealing with similar issues. How did the harvest turn out for you? Any seeds? I only have a wek or two left on my indica strains and have one throwing a few nanners but I also have sativas in the room that need a good 4-5 more weeks. Thats what im concerned about dont know wether to try and control the problem or what. Thanks

I am 44 days info flowering and I have one plant that keeps randomly pushing out nanners, not too many but a few so far. Only small one cause i been catching them early and been pulling them off.

My question is...how long does it take for a nanner to produce pollen once it starts to form, and then open or whatever? And if they do hypothetially spread pollen how long would it take to ollinate my othrt plants and make seeds?
I am only 2 weeks or so untill harvest, should i be worried?
i had few last grow got sic of trying to pull them off so i let it go it seeded the rest of my plants but out of 6 plants i ened up with about 12 random seeds

ive actually had a blueberry that threw off a good 100+ naners on top colas none of them did anything, not even seeds on herself, so its just a game that has a slight risk to a larger risk of pollinating. I never pluck naners unless they are ACTUAL pollen sacks i get those fuckers when their green, dont ever want one of those to pop open.

also if you have a pollen sac burst or know/feel like it might. i fog my room to 100% humidty for a night or two, usually kills any pollen that will pop out.

I have noticed nanners in my past grows usually coming on mid to very late flower. I've always removed them and under a few circumstances have found maybe 3 or 4 seeds per the entire run on different strains. This one looks similar to all other experiences but is throwing more nanners than usual. I have plucked off about 6 on my critical kush so far and it has to be strain specific considering the other 10 plants are okay. I also took a fine mist spray bottle and sprayed down the room and plants everynight during lights on because I would rather have a few spotted leaves than let it sit moist in the dark while this late into flower risking bud rot which ive dealt with before and is a nightmare. Seems like these nanners don't produce much pollen at all in my experience but didn't want to take any chances.

I can deal with a few seeds here and there, but god forbid a seeded crop lol.

Ok There is no such thing as a Nanner "opening" A Nanner is the male organ that is called a stamen.

Stamen are in the pollen sack..... then the pollen sack exposes the nanner which then pollinates the area and any pistils on the plant "grab on"

There is no "waiting for a stamen to open" it's there... it's what it is..... they drop pollen as fast as they can produce it.

HOWEVER, it seems that often the pollen isn't viable, or doesn't get to the plants in time.... or whatever the case might be, the plant doesn't produce seeds even with the presence of

I have to disagree. If you grab a nanner and split it, you will see the pollen. At some point the pollen has to come out of the middle...
I have a problem with the nanners, showing around the middle of flower and if they aren't controlled, the seeds do appear. I believe my problem is running outdoor gear indoors. I have moved to Bodhi gear now so next time it should be all good. To finish off this one though, no fans and I am also running an ozone generator with proper ventilation. All other things are proper btw- checked for darkness, 81 degrees at canopy during light, 70 degrees lights off, humidity around 55%. Sometimes its the little details that can trip you up.
