Just wondering if anyone can tell me how soon these guys are gonna pop? I want to collect the pollen but my space is limited so I'm wondering if I can remove the stalks and put them in a bag to collect somewhere else?? It only looks like a few are big enough to hold pollen but I don't want to risk seeding my whole grow.Do i have to let them grow and collect as they pop? Can I cut them now and pop them myself somewhere safe?1564951629783-1053496211.jpg 1564951678565535022102.jpg 15649517024021095334595.jpg

If you just want to collect some pollen, a small amount will make a couple thousand seeds. You can cut a few of those branches and put them in a cup of water in a safe area away from your other plants. They will drop pollen like this, you can lay paper or tin foil underneath the cup . And keep the light schedule the same so they stay on track.

Awesome, thanks for the advice, I can get rid of the plant and toss the branches in water somewhere safe, easier to collect like that I'm sure anyway. Perfect, thanks!

Does it even have any female flowers? At first I thought full on hermie but it looks like a male. Bananas look totally different and are female staminate flowers.

Dude..what?? No there are no female flowers, it's a male. Are the banana shapes specifically for hermies? I was under the impression that the balls eventually elongated till they were nanners and then popped. My bad if that's the case, was just looking for input on how long my male plant had until he spread pollen everywhere.

You are all good. I was confused at the post title and was like, nanners? Yeah cut and put in water, they will bust pollen outside the grow. change clothes after collecting pollen before entering your grow. It only takes a little and it is designed to flow in air. I like to use a sheet of parchment paper below the glass with the cuts. That is easy to collect after the pollen falls.

Looks like you have a male here.. I'm not sure there is a whole lot you can do as far as salvaging product that can be smoked.
As others have said, you might as well take this opportunity to collect some pollen!

Nanners are nanners. They are embedded in female flowers, contain female pollen and create feminized seed. Hermies have female flowers and full on male balls both. Seeds they create can be male or female and probably tend to hermie if female.

how did that work out?
I havn't had a chance to use it yet but I collected the sacs yesterday and folded them into wax paper and then into a Ziploc bag. That's not the right way to do it I've just been lazy and don't think that I want to risk pollinating my ladies this grow. Might try to extract and freeze what I can but I don't think I'm gonna use any this grow. The sacs did continue to grow in the water, even with an offbeat light schedule, i just kinda let them sit out in my bedroom.
