over what? change in health?..that happens with every employer, every year, unless employer has negotiated contract.
To be honest my crew doesn't hate me..In order for me to hire someone else, one of them would have to die. I was just trying to be funny. I can say that none of my crew has health care. I have P&I insurance while they are working.. They can afford their own health care, but I don't think it is very high up on their list of things to do..

If you are productive, what are you producing? It seems you just mentioned you accepted the money the feds stole from your neighbors at the beginning of this thread.

currently, pell grant but i'm taking a stafford direct loan soon..
When you get your 1098 form, its going to show your grant money in box 5, which means you wont be getting the opportunity credit if you ever used it before. i.e. they aren't going to let you take the tax credit if they gave you the money in the first place.

No, you weren't given too little money. Anything they give you at all is far, far too much.

So, in other words you are trying to tell me you have not paid tuition yet? The 1098-T form (tuition payments statement) is given to you from the School so that you can take the tax credit in the first place. But since you stated you aren't going to get one, you also aren't going to be able to take the tax credit.

Sorry.

Either that or you don't understand how taxes work in this situation. Which is it?

Or, the whole 3.8 gpa and college was all bullshit in the first place.

The irs calls the portion of our income we keep as "tax expenditures." In other words, the irs operates under the assumption that every dime we earn is theirs and we are allowed to keep some of it by virtue of their benevolence.

That kind of rubs me the wrong way.

the irs says we pay our taxes "voluntarily", too.
not going to look it up, california in the late or middle '70s....a man started a small revolt and wound up in prison for not paying taxes. There may have been more serious charges involving a revolt

WE ALL PAY TAXES VOLUNTARILY

...otherwise we will be imprisoned.

Well, I"m not not paying taxes on something I can can grow and reep.....maple syrup time is coming
