I've tried both the substances... more than once. I originally posted that the 5-MeO-DMT is not as potent than N,N-DMT, DMT has more CEV and OEV, vivid hallucinations. SmokingTree said I was talking out of my ass and Let That Kush Burn was just plain stupid. Sorry if I come off as an ass but I pissed me off lol

Sigh. Am I suppose to really think just because someone seems to find N,N-DMT more potent the 5-MeO-DMT that is the result? Have you ever thought that maybe you were expecting the SAME effects as N,N-DMT or expecting much more? It's like your first time doing pain killers (at least for me) I was expecting some type of mind high and body high like a good Indica until my buddy told me that it was body high and NOT TO MOVE. Then I realized the beauty of Percocet or Vicodin + Weed = 8D I have smoked DMT and 5-MeO-DMT both more then ten times each. 5-MeO-DMT does indeed make you hallucinate. Each time I would find myself staring into nothing moving my hands around with bright colors that surounded me. Get real.

I have significant experience with 5-MeO-DMT but DMT is still on my list of things to do before I croak. 5-MeO-DMT takes a much lower dose so it's more potent than DMT. I guess you could subjectively say that the DMT experience is more powerful if that is your opinion. The 5-MeO-DMT experience is a very powerful psychedelic trip but you see nothing. You only feel it as a body rush. I will try to describe it but some things can only be experienced. This stuff is not for everybody. Only the brave and adventurous. Only for true Psychonaughts.
When you release the smoke the feeling starts at the base of the spine in the region corresponding to the Kundalini http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kundalini and flows up through the body. Almost everyone is frightened the first time they do it. So a lot of people never repeat the experience. Once you learn how to handle it, the feeling is exquisite. Some believe that the experience has similarities to Near Death experiences and Out of Body experiences. I obviously do not know what it feels like to die, but this is what I imagine it might be like. My little theory is that both DMTs trick the brain into thinking you have died which then frees the soul to leave for the other side. Once the drug wears off in 10-15 minutes the soul gets jerked back as if on the end of a bungee jump. So you get a look at what you will see after death on DMT while 5-MeO-DMT lets you feel the soul leaving the body but not see anything. Feel free to disagree if you don't want to believe that. I've read descriptions of something called the "Awakening of the Kundalini" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kundalini#Kundalini_awakening that sound similar to what I've experienced especially the "infinite bliss" part.
5-MeO-DMT changed my life for the better. I was locked into some negative personal behavior patterns that I was able to break after many years. I've found a new optimism about life. I'm less afraid of death. I know we all have to go sooner or later but I think I've felt a taste of it and, you know, it's not that bad. The day I die will be a sad day I'm sure but it's also going to be a joyous day because I'll leave this meatbag behind and begin my journey to whatever is next. And this is coming from an atheist who does not believe in the bible. The 5-MeO-DMT experience can work during sex. Yes you can feel like you are dying while having sex. Doesn't sound like fun but you have no idea, words do not exist to describe the ecstasy.
If you dump the 5-MeO into a pipe and use a lighter you will waste much of it as the flame destroys the compound. You need a crack pipe or some equivalent. Someone on this forum reported good results with a volcano vaporizer. Next time I get my mitts on some 5-MeO I will try a vape.
