MYSTERY SEEDLING

lmao so about 15 days ago this seed popped out of some pretty dank bud I bought. It's not like the weed had seeds all in it , this literally popped out of one nug and I was very surprised so with that being said I germinated it and after the first 14 hours or so it already started the root growth or whatever so I planted in soil and 2 days later she popped up . Here's a pic of her now, She looks weird because the two seedling leafs got taken off because they looked damaged from breaking the soil or something idk. I know it's like a 50/50 chance for a female and I have other plants growing so I don't care I midis well start this baby up . How long should I veg this plant and what light cycle should I use to veg it ? I have kept the light on 24/0 so farimage.jpg

Veg her as long as you want. It depends on how big you want her and how fast she grows. You can keep 24/0 if you like but I'm a big advocate of keeping a good dark period (root growth) so 18/6 tops in my opinion. Good luck :peace:

Thanks I figured I should let it get some darkness for root growth . I guess I'll veg this plant for about 2 or 3 months before I switch 12/12

Strange looking plant, has webbed leaves, not serrated. You shouldn't remove cotyledons, they're an important source of nutrients for your plant. basically if it suffers any kind of deficiency, they're the first line of defense to fall.

I had a greenhouse cheese do this to me. She was a seedling and I decided to top her real early (first or second node can't recall and it was on a whim so no log entry) - When the other two nodes started to grow in, they grew in like revegged plants do. It was peculiar and I've yet to find exactly why that is. :bigjoint: :peace:

i use 20/4 veg cycle best results ive seen and its all on paper. gives them maximum light with just enough rest. also gives the room a chance to cool down MH bulbs put off some heat.

bet dollars to dougnuts its a female. if it came from a nice bag of sensi chances are it was pollinated by a female plant, thus making it feminized. unless whoever was growing it thought it would be a good idea to grow males with thier crop.....but i doubt it..i would say it has a 99% chance to be a female with slight hermi traits...i wouldnt concern yourself with the hermie though if the bud you got it from wasnt seedy as hell chances are even if your plant does pop a male flower out you will only get a few seeds in your bud. almost every plant i have grown has hermied slightly most of the time i dont even realize it untill im breaking up a bid and a dam seed pops out and im like wtf...already smoked 3 oz of this and havent seen a seed yet..

anyways...generally your 50/50 chance for male/female is only when the plant was pollinated by a male, generally your shwag weed, most good quality bud the seeds are from hermie and are pretty much going to be females. my 2¢

For sure man I had a pretty good chance that this will grow to be a female but there's no telling until I actually find out whenever I switch to flower but yeah the weed wasn't seedy at all, I had a half oz of some really good bud I got from a friends friend . We don't usually go by names, generally you know if you have some really good weed unless of course I specifically purchase a strain which I'm aware of . But I wonder how she will do .

It's a cutie alright, agree with the weird shaped leaves but a free seed is a great seed. Good luck with this one keep us updated hope you can figure out what type you got growing.
