Myself, Moving, Migraines

Hello,
I'm from Ohio but moving soon to either Colorado or the west coast. I was never interested in cannabis, but found that it could help with my migraines and the "side effects" are rather pleasant. The more I research and learn the more I'm interested. If I move to a legal state growing might be in my future. Well, anyway I've only ever had it in Colorado because I'm too scared of the legal ramifications here and too scared to ask anyone, though when I do have a migraine I'm about ready to do anything to get rid of it. ANyway that's me and my journey.

I moved from the mid west to Colorado about 30 years ago and love it here. I took up growing for my wife's chronic migraine issues so I can empathize, sorry it is hard for you to get relief.

Thanks! It really is difficult and many people don't sympathize. They think it's "just a headache" boy I wish that was the truth!

Luckily I haven't had to witness my wife at that level of pain for more than a decade now. Cannabis takes it down to a more bearable level where she is still in discomfort but can still eat a little and move around the house. Prior it was a level of pain that I could not stand to watch. It was worth it to me to grow illegally then and I'm so happy we can do it legally now here in CO. Good luck on your move!

hi i have a friend that is also moving to colorado hoping that there's something that would actually help. Do you know which strain is best for treating migraine? any help would be greatly appreciated.

one thing that works for preventing these head aches . one of my girl friends stopped drinking diet pop and glutin . in pasta and bread ; the doctors said just take 1000 mg or meds for pain . but head ache people know pain killers make head aches worse . idk any ways it cant hurt trying to stop drinking diet pops if you do and glutin , weed will kill a head ache for sure .

Sativas, indicas, hybrids, they all work for my wife and just depends on the time of day or night that she needs them. Sativas better for daytime, indicas better for nighttime. I would buy a range of maybe 10 or 12 different strains, just a gram each, and then experiment to see what helps the most. I think it is more important that the cannabis be harvested at the proper time (not early), slow dried, and cured properly. Go organic if you can.
