What's up everyone? Hope you guys are having a good day. Just thought I'd drop by to see how the young ones are doing. I dig the new light in the grow room. You got a real professional looking setup going on now. Congrats man!

I found out the other day I have one female WW and one was a male. I'm not in to keeping pollen so I just gave him the ax. Maybe one day but for now I just want to concentrate on growing em. If anything I may take clones of the one female but I might be a but too late for that.

My Thai plant still hasn't shown. I had to supercrop that bitch cuz she was trying to go Papaya on my ass and grow into the light. First supercrop and after a bit of back and forth and a couple beers I pinched that bitch and she toppled right over. With a bit of support for the first couple days it seems to have been quite successful. I gotta say, she does look a bit funny now all crooked and shit! lol!!!

So Myles, in your experience, is it normal for a pure Sativa to take it's sweet ass time to show sex? I've been feeding it and I even repotted it in hope that I'm caring for a girl but it's been days since the WW showed female preflowers and the Thai is still holding out on me.

in my experience, it took dam near 3 weeks of 12/12 for my arjans haze to show sex/start flower. that was the last pure sativa i ever bothered with. Just not my type of plant nor my type of high. I look to weed for relaxation n laziness hahah. I will grow sativa dominant mixes but no pures

Right on man. Good to know. I was gifted these seeds a few years back and decided to give em a go. I'm stoked for the WW girl to do her thing and the Thai is more of an experiment for me anyway. I'm more of an indica guy myself but my girl loves her some sativa so this one will be for her. I'm sure after waiting through a 12-15 week flowering period I will probably stick with the hybrids as well. I figured I had the room in my tent for her (maybe, lol!) so it would be worth a shot. If it turns out to be male I guess it will be a sign that it wasn't meant to happen.

true that lol. An i wouldnt turn down a free bean either... i actually still have a cpl of those same haze seeds in my stockpile. Dunno if ill ever pop em but maybe ill gift the buds to friends? its an idea. Ill admit pure sativas are dropdead sexy lookin plants with their rzor thin longgass fingers

ok, iv decided the mother tent i was looking at is simply too big. Does anyone know of a grow tents that only 3 feet tall and maybe 24-36 inches wide? the stinker i wanted is 4 feet tall n a lil over 4 feet wide....just way too big for what i want. I would build my own but i want it to be portable/removeable so lookin for a prefab deal

I know they make 2x4 tents. Check ebay but becareful what brand you go with cause of off gassing and cheap materials. I know HTG has one but I dont know how well its priced. Its what I plan on getting when I am ready to setup my 4ft 8 bulb T5.

Dont think I have ever seen a 3x4 tent....

i found a 2X4 on HTG but its like 52 inches tall....the height is what i really want to cut down moreso than the width. 3 feet tall would make my life alot easier as far as tucking it away.

right now this is the best iv found for me.... is this safe as far as offgassing?

i would just build your own out of 2x2 man thats what i did its SUPER light and just screw it together and use velcro to mount your panda film so you can remove the panda and then unscrew ur box and then move it. Best bet you can make it any size you want. You did an excellent job on the other DIY, i say you just do it again =)

when you say off gassing you mean when it gets hot in there the plastic puts out some sort of fumes? or somthing? never heard of that problem before with booths

All the small tents I have seen so far have been 4' tall. You would think someone would make a tent specifically for clones that would be like a 2x3x3 but I havn't found one yet.

I'm with KK on this one...you got the DIY skills bro. I bet you could make something just as good as a store bought tent for half the price and still make it super portable.

you would think right? clone n moms dont need 4 feet of height even with the lights above them. I think I may build my own but i really didnt want to. panda plastic isnt as good of quality as the tents they sell.

I would say they are mainly 4 foot tall because if you think about it you want your mothers to get to about 2-3 ft tall and your pots gonna take up a foot and hanging your lights going to take up a foot so thats 2 feet out of 4 taken up by equipment, you could probably strap the light up closer but then your ghetto hangin a t5 and it makes me feel uncomfortable thats usually why my mother rooms are at LEAST 4 foot tall. Now a clone room could be like just 1.5 to 2 ft tall. would be all you need for some clones

id keep bonsai mothers. theyd only be bout a foot tall, maybe 18 inches.

I was running some bonsai mom in 4"x4" pots that with proper pruning never got taller than 18" with the pots. That being said, they took a lot of attention b/c they needed to be watered every other day or so and need light veg nutes about every other week to keep em happy. Unfortunately it turned out the clones I took from them went hermie at about 7 weeks of flower both runs I did so I had to get rid of em. Anyway, the point being, if you are trying to keep a small space for moms, bonsai can be a very good option for this.

Ahh ok I got ya now, the height is the issue. Shit I have seen dudes set their tents up on the side to get the lower height and more width. Just a thought...
