You don't like my curtains? They earthy and happy. 1000 posts bitches!
I can't do any kind of prints, I have to go with solid colors.

A lady rented her guest bedroom out to me way back, it was the first place I lived when I moved out... It looked something like this (but worse).

so you had vinyl tile down? And are going back with real or vinyl?
Yeah it was that vct stuff. I hate it. I'm either doing a peel and stick vinyl stone or a wood laminate. Haven't made up my mind. Besides real tile being way out of my price range, I actually don't like it on the floor. Lots of work for a way too cold floor.

Vinyl tile is more durable. Prgo-style laminates WILL soak water into the seams, and the swelling will prove that laminate is essentially high-grade cardboard. I did a room once in laminate. What I did was use a bead of bathroom silicone (the clear 50-year stuff) into each togue&groove assembling it. Anal? Perhaps. But a spill-resistant floor = worth it. cn

"See honey. It's a Hydroponic floor. It has emitters built in and when you drop seeds, they grow! The man at home depot says it will cut down on the heating bill because these 600 watt lights warm up the kitchen, so your feet don't get cold. Just imagine sweet heart, plucking lettuce and tomato right from the ground for dinner! Oh, how weird, what's this plant?"

If you have skill with your tongue, you might be able to sell it!

(Pun intended)

I vote for Laminated wood.

I was leaning more towards the peel and stick just cause it is so damn easy. Laminate would look nice, but just like CN said I have seen numerous instances were it swelled. I'm anal as well. If I do the vinyl I will caulk between every seem, just like I did in the bathroom, much like grouting. Looks real nice too.

I'd be down with that room... The walls look trippy as fuck!

All done! Went with a vinyl plank. Real easy and turned out looking great me thinks. The wife too but who cares what she thinks.
