Its not gonna kill them, jeeze. Epsom is pretty much straight magnesium, i'd start with a teaspoon per gallon. Sorta harder to get it out than in.

Glad you liked the joke. I usually use cal/mag, add trace elements regularly, or mix dolomite in beforehand. Never used epsom. Ask. . . . . hrm. Who to ask? Bricktop would know, he might not respond though.

Hang on, we might be noobing out.

Well that is I'll probably end up using a tsp if Grizz and/or Brick Top don't come up with anything else...

If Grizz doesn't come up with anything else. PFFFFT.

Bitch you have a calcium def. Stunted growth, burning leaf tips, new growth looking steadily weaker? Calcium. You'd have inter-veinal chlorosis if it was magnesium def, and I don't see any yellowing veins on those leaves, do you? Calcium sulfate, also known as gypsum. Epsom salts don't have calcium. Research for the win, I'm just old enough I know where all the books are ;)

Boom. Headshot.

Ugh, I looked at pics of the mag def and the looked similar to what i had.

This is what looked like a mag def to me...

but looking at cal def pictures this looks like cal def to me...

So maybe I got both?? Think I should get some gypsum and mix a tsp of that and a tsp of epsom salt in a gallon and try that?

Cal/Mag is really easy to tell between when its advanced. I still feel that you have a calcium def, not mag. HOWEVER! There's no good goddamn reason to not add those epsom salts AND calcium sulfate. People refer to it as "a cal/mag problem" because the symptoms are closely related. If you got a local growshop or greenhouse, check out cal/mag. Its going to be your absolute best option. If you'd rather track down gypsum and epsom that'll work too, I don't know how much gypsum to use per gallon. If you can't find gypsum, most farm stores have hydrated lime. You'll have to buy 50 pounds but its only around 7 bucks. Hydrated lime works like any other lime except its water soluble. Don't use too much, but watering with that shit will beef up minerals and instantly bring the pH of your soil to neutral. The lime bazooka if you will.
