My super annoying question

I know as well as the next guy that yield is next to impossible to guesstimate but I'd like to ask the more experienced guys on an input for potential. I've done a couple small grows but never gone complex like I'm gonna try now. So I have a 4x8 sun hut with 2 4x4 ebb and flow setups. I'm figuring 1 per sqft making 32 plants all full veg and flower times all plants are big bud coming from strong mothers. Would it be better to use 3 600w or use 2 1000w...I'm not a total newb so yes air cooling is a given. Is it unreasonable for an experienced small grower to be thinking a 2oz per plant average (about 4ilbs total) or is even more reasonable? Which if these light setups is the best. Lastly I'd like to experiment with co2 something vie never dabbled in before. What could this do to a yield in a setup like this and how do I go about applying the co2 in a tent with 24/7 carbon filtered circulation? Do I have to shut the fan off fill the tent let it sit then start circulation again? This area as you can see I'm obviously clueless on. Any and all POSITIVE comments or advice is highly appreciated

One thing that you may not be considering regarding the square feet: It sounds like you are only accounting for the footprint of the containers really. When these things grow up they also grow out unless you plan to do considerable cropping. Try to visualize what it will look like close to harvest. Even after veg they should (hopefully) double in size during flower. If you intend to do any LST that's even more real estate.
Do the sides of the hut open up so you can get to all your plants? Your two flood tables fill the hut completely by the sound.
Whether you do it with 32 plants or fewer than that with LST (or simply giving fewer plants more room to grow), your target should be acheivable. I am not quite at that level of yield myself, but I did pretty well with my last chop. Close to 3 lb with 21 plants.
Regarding light, you haven't said what height you are working with or the reflectors. These factor into the decision on wattage, I would say. With some nice big AC reflectors I would probably go with 2x 1000. Maybe the 600 in the middle?

id prefer to use the 3 600w as ucan put them closer and the light will be more spread out if you use air cooled hood you can put the lights much closer and 2oz a plant sounds average to me it depends on the nutes and how long u veg for in my opinion

Hrry, I hope you are not going to try and put 32 big buds into a 4x4 ebb and flow tray... Try and put 4 big buds and you will be better off. 2 600s and 4 big buds in a 4x4 tray sounds much better than 32 big buds... Try and look up what 32 plants look like before you decide how many plants you want. In the setup I told you, depending on how long you veg, you can pull 2-6 oz per plant ezpk.

The tent is 6.5 ft tall and is slightly oversized so there's about 2 inches if so space between tent and trays all the way around and yes it opens from all sides. I'm using xxxl blockbusters if 2 1000s and probably slightly smaller if I down to 3 600's. Each plant will be in 6 inch rock wool cubes for a good root base. I've been told by others that 1 sqft per plant was good thus why i was gonna do 32 plants. So 2oz isn't unreasonable then. What about a co2 application how effective in yield increase is it.

And broken turtle I will be using 2 4x4 trays next to each other in a 4x8 tent making 16 per tray...I have a buddy who did a 3x3 with 9 plants that went well not sure of his strain though

Yeah, 2 oz per plant is doable definitely. I am a big proponent of CO2. Most people agree that it is really only effective if you have everything else dialed in. But yes, I have used it and I can state with no hesitation that it makes a difference.

But what sort of system do I use with the co2. How to apply it to the tent and how often and it what quantities. All things I have no experiencenin.

Big bud is incredibly prone to mold and mildew, since its fat colas. If you have 2 4x4 trays, I think you should do 4 plants per tray. If you go for anymore, you are really risking losing weight to lack of light or mold. If you wanted to really push it, do 8 per tray. Don't do 16... How long do you plan to veg for? Also, do you have a veg room? And co2 is great! But I don't know if you have read anything about co2 addiction. It increases yield, but for every day you do not provide co2, your plants will be stunded with growth. You have to make sure you always provide co2 if you start the plants with them. Also, set up your timers so that every 15 minuts of the hours your lights are on, your co2 is on and alllll fans are off (intake and extake). Every 45 minutes of the other co2 is shut and fans are on. That's the best way to utilize co2 if you want it.

I did 72 plants in a 4x8 under 2 1kW and it was WAAAAYYYYY too many plants. I would drop the plant number to ~20 maximum and I would go with a single 1kW on a light mover. If you want to run 2 lights set up another 4x8 with another 1kW on a light mover - You'll see the best cost vs yield doing this.

Thanks for the co2 instructions. Sounds beneficial but also sounds like an awful large amount of co2 to obtain regularly. And no veg room the plants will be going from rooted clones to full monsters all in the same tent and trays...I only have a seperate 3x3 for my mothers and cloning machine

Do you already have the mothers? Whers the cloner? 1 1000w with a light mover will be more than efficient for an 4x8 room. Co2 is not bad at all, one tank will last you for 1-2 months. Whats this separate 3x3 tent? I have an idea for you sir.

Well What can I answer of this one?
actually the thing is "it all depends on the experience" so still I couldn't get anything this kinda yet so have nothing to share either my business. Just doing business of real estate and don't know about anything else anyway I'm happy that I've got all of your's opinions.
