my strainlist (sog opinions)

these are the strains i ordered this week they are on their way to my door

my question is which will perform the best in a perpetual sog?
they should be
fast rooting as clones
good yield
good high (couchlock is preferred)
good growing mothers (to get more clones as needed if some wont make it^^

36 views and no1 can tell me what strain to use? lol

Personally, I don't order more than I can grow in two years (2 crops per year). That includes some extras, in case of germination problems. I can only grow one strain at a time, so Its incredibly hard to pick from the hundreds of great strains available.

So the question for you, is how many can you grow at a time? I assume you have already screened these strains for your tolerance to odor, in/outdoor, etc.

I'm currently growing Vortex, and even at 8" tall, I can tell it's a special plant. Haven't smoked any, but from my "seed shopping" I'm very stoked about the whole Subcool lineup. Also, anything Cindy or G13 would be on the top of my list.

I haven't smoked enough "named" strains to have a preference between Indy or Sativa or mix, so I'm trying to grow some of each to find out which I prefer. So, I would pick one Indica, one Sativa, and one 50/50 (or 60/40).

Tough choice to make...good luck.

i can grow 3-5 strains at one time i will do sog so i can fit many plants in a smaller space^^

use aurora indica off NIRVANA. its sopposed to be pretty pooent and its couchlock.

look at sensi's black domina, very very couchlock, very very strong, very very big yields, nice flowering time.

i was talking about the strains i listed cuz i wont order more for the next months/years ^^

in sog style i prefer almost full indica, i would go with the serious white russian

If you can grow 3-5, I'd plan for 3 strains. Start 5 seeds. If any don't come up, keep trying until you have 5 viable plants. From 5 you'll likely get 5 females (i assume only the dinafem are feminized.)

Once you have 3 females, clone the shit out of them until the room is full.

From you list, I would pick a C99 and Querkle and AK-48 for sure. One of the G13's would be next, and I'd round it off with the blue hash. A big chunk of blue colored hash makes me light-headed just thinking about it.

And, to Mr.Magic.... I was stoked about Aurora Indica and ordered some from Nirvana. Not one seed came up. Tried direct plant, sprouting, different seed starter mixes, hot box, nothing worked. Used up all 10 beans with nothing to show for it.

thats so long maybe you should check your technique. BUT for the strain for SOG, i myself just order seeds for SOG. and whats on ur list that i order is Critical Mass, this strain should be very good for top cola SOG, with big potent tasty buds. good luck mang

KushRx, you are correct that we are here to help, and there is no need to be critical. So, you shouldn't assume that if threads appear hostile to you, perhaps its your interpretation.

Its hard to tell the tone sometimes, just from reading. Sometimes its fun ribbing, etc, and no harm is meant. Also, these forums would suck if everybody is "really nice" and tries to "not hurt anyone's feelings."
