Attempting to run a legal grow operation here in Alaska. Currently have four 1000 hps and two 48 t5 veg lights. Starting out small. Currently only running one hps and the t5s. Just transplanted some clones into two gallon fabric pots filled with hydroton. Planning on hand watering in veg tent until ready for ebb and flow table with hps light. Using a bubble cloner for clones. Mothers are in coco. Pic is of Veg tent #1.

Being from Alaska (and going back) I have to ask - why the tents at this point? Just wondering. It's so much easier to control everything outside of one. Especially the heat!

I'd lower those t-5's to almost touching the tops.
I second this motion. Place a fan so it blows fresh air underneath, but leave no more than a hand's width between plants and T5 lamps.

I also second the motion to officially welcome you to RIU, @Dogfish907

I also confess to some curiosity about the need for tents. The only time I grow in one is to help isolate it from everything else- like popping hetero beans, for example.

Tents. The reason I have tents is so I didnt have to build seperate rooms. Currently I use them for veg. One has two 48" T5 lights. The other has a 1000w turned down to 400w. Eventually I will change the set-up into something else. Need practical experience to base future room design on. Slow but sure, I will be a good farmer.
