My "stealth" grow cabinet

Friends

I wanted to show the grow cabinet I built recently. All in, probably cost me $150 in materials.

I plan on a one plant grow with an autoflower, likely a lowrider for obvious reasons. I would love to hear any comments.

turns out I built a piece of shit... it get way too hot... if I increased the in take and exhaust fans to over 100 cfm from the current 65 cfm, would it cool it from the current 95 degrees to sub 80 degrees? HELP!

Check out my grow dude. I have a small cab as well. I have found that putting the fans to all exhaust and leaving a passive intake is better. Also, if you are running any type of filter on those small fans, it isn't going to work. The filters really hold back the computer fans.

So change the intake fan I have to make it an exhaust fan should help? Do I need to cut out another slot for passive air? I take a look at your thread, thanks for the advice btw...

make sure there is ample room where the fans blow out of your cab. it looks like your cab is pushed into your closet so tightly it "cant breath" good. pull it out of your closet with it running and the door closed and see if that helps. if so you know what you need to do. and you can always add another passive intake. if it dont work, just cover it up!!!

passive intake you mean a hole without a fan? I am considering cutting a hole above the lights on the top and placing one of the fans above the lights as my exhaust instead of the top right side area where it resides currently. thanks gumball.. I appreciate your input.

yeah, a hole with no fan is passive intake. that sounds like a good idea about the fan on top. you may be able to reuse the old exhaust hole on the top right side as an extra passive intake. i think i would try that before just cutting another hole. here is something i posted last night. there are some links in here that may help you build a good light trap. with autoflowers it really aint necessary, but it gives you options.

I am going to throw in a couple of 112 CFM fans in to replace the two 65 CFM fans I already have installed. Maybe the pickup in airflow will move the heat out more efficiently... at least I'll try that before I cut any further holes in my box. I have a seedling starting to crack and show green, so I need to get a move on. I'll start a grow journal soon.
