try a fresh clipping in a non-clear cup of water, too. Can take a week for roots to start. Plant after 2 weeks. I've done that for ficus a million times and I've read it works for MJ, too. I tried this approach with a bud just last night, if you can believe it. Your post reminded me of that old hippie and, since I had some really fresh buds, I figured I'd give it a whirl. I used the Schultz Take Root, too. Just a snip, dip (in the schultz), smack (the excess hormone off), dunk (in the water), swirl (to get any air out of the stem), cover.
