my stalk split. . .

ok i have a very indica dom with 4 main colas, well there wasnt alot of light getting to the lower half so i went to tie the branches back a little, when doing this my main cola split just above the soil. i think the split may have reached below the soil, so i tied a string around the two colas that the split came from to join them back together. question is do yall think the plant will survive or start to rot and die?

when did it split and when did u tie them together what is that gap of time?

just now.... tied it back together as fast as i broke it lol

i have a plant that has done the same thing, i put tape around it but it never healed, this happened about a month ago and the plant is still growing, and no sign of rot in the split

Its no big deal. just tie it up or leave it alone. idk y but it happens every so often. but it dosn't rely hurt the plant. if your an opportunists you could use that split for grafting another strain. just cut a stem off another plant add some growth hormone (as if u were cloning) the stick it in the hole.

ha i thought about that when it happen. all i got to go with it is a hawaiian snow, a very sativa dom

It will be fine..whether it grows back together or not...I haven't had a plant yet that hasn't had a split in it...They just heal right up...
