My setup. Please leave any thoughts or suggestions :)

What's up roll it up community! I'm new to growing, but not a newbie. I've tried growing before and it didnt work out, but I've dedicated a week to just research and purchasing. I finally have(at least I believe) everything I need to do my grow room. It's going to be a CFL setup as I am doing this in my house and my parents are home. I have two 300 watt(equivalence) bulbs, four 100 watt(equivalence) bulbs, one pair of T8 6500K daylight fluorescent tubed lights, and two 150 watt(equivalence) bulbs. The temp is around 80-85 degrees at the moment, but I'm going to keep the temp around 75-80 when my seeds arrive from nirvana(ordered 10 kaya gold seeds last week. Hopefully they come on Friday). I keep the humidity around 30-60% by watering a towel and putting it near the light to evaporate. I have purchased(and received) fox farm soil nutrients trio, and use miracle grow potting soil and vegetative soil(perlite added). The water I will be using is distilled because. I don't want to take a risk using my tap. Ill give pictures of my setup when I get home, but for now you have the over-all concept of my grow setup, I hope Also, I am using 2 separate power bricks for all my wires and such. They are both plugged into outlets right outside my grow room. Please leave thoughts or questions

Added question: I will have a fan running in my closet 24/7. The closet will be closed 24/7. Is this enough airflow? I assume it will be when it comes to kaya gold because this strain can withstand harsh conditions. Thanks

mate i dont want do be rude or nothing but if you parents still home its gonna be so hard and you should respect you parent dont get them involved in your shit but its you problem just telling you

as the fans what fans you planted to put u will need inhole and outtake hole for fresh air come in and go out of you grow room if you only put fans the air in grow room is just gonna circle
and plant wont get fresh air .

you light are good but clf are rely not that impressive at all for flowering stage so if you got bit money to waste will prove you yield.

also remember mate i tried so hard finde low odour stain and u know in what finely i decide must have ufo and carbon

other way u will get busted 10000% to you parents cuz they all stink of something .

i just trying help you out mate dont take it hard way.

I should mention this before more people say the same.. 4/5 of my family members know I'm growing. Including one of my parents. I live in a 2 story house and my dad never comes upstairs, let alone would he come into my room. I have air freshener in my room 24/7 thanks to wall outlets so I hope it's enough to kill the smell although I do understand that kaya is potents. And I do open the closet to let air in and out every few hours. Just from what I know from school(I'm not your average student, I'm top of my class and have taken AP biology, and passed the exam for college credit), this plant should have plenty of air, although you may think otherwise! Which is totally fine �� I appreciate suggestions

i just telling you this first i was planting to do same as you grow without vent or carbon filter search h 2 week for low odour strain and though whit air puffers and etc i could keep the smell out .
but everyone diss me at all forums get cf and vent you get busted this will never work etc etc. its good you have 2 story house it will help a bit.
also if you plant to put in closet you should try buy zip dust doors if you wive my post you can see more info about them .
also i suggest you to try buy hps or some good lamps for flower stage if you want prove you yield.
also you need add some info how big is you grow space also it depends how many you plant to put
but as you plant hit flowering stage puff man the strain you have it gonna go downstairs and quickly.

sounds good man Im starting to finish up on my first plant, Im not a pro in anyway but you seem to have the basics ready, as for air flow I had mine in 75% covered closet area with a decent airflow from an open window with closed screen (two on nice days), all went smooth, thinking back if I had a fan I would have used it an im sure it would have done just as good if not better. And I feel as though smell depends strongly on the strain I can barely smell mine up until i put my nose up to a nug and get the clear wisp of fruits lol, especially if its a room that only you go in and an area only you know, goodluck bro

As a Dad, I can't help you deceive your Dad. Not cool

Hey, but some Dad's are a-holes. I'm sure you have your reasons for leaving him out of the loop. Just get your carbon filter or other odor control working or this adventure will be over really fast.

I've looked Into centralization for my plants in my closet for maximum air flow, and researched the strains requirements for CO2 and oxygen. With my setup, I should be able to pull 1-3 oz of this baby(hopefully). Carbon filter would be a good investment but I'm only going to be growing 1-2 plants at a time. Hopefully this won't cause a problem. Luckily for me, I have a large window in my room which I can have open 24/7 for constant airflow into the closet.

If you're intending to grow in closet without tent, might I suggest getting some type of curtain rod to hang a black out curtain. That way you can open up the door with a little more ease of mind. If you're planning on growing more than one plant, you will need a carbon filter come flowering. It really is a no brainer, but your plug ins will not cover the lovely stench your little ladies will produce. Let me tell you, I had a little problem where I got my fan and they sent me the wrong size. I was growing some super stank, so I know you can find some with a lot less odor, but by the 2nd-3rd week of 12/12 I was honestly worried about a neighbor calling the police.

Thankfully I'm able to grow at my bachelor brothers spot (who happens to be a police officer but that's another story,) but if even 1 of your family members didn't know yet they certainly would come flowering time, if you don't get a carbon filter set up. It's a very.. what's the word I'm looking for.. overpowering.. pungent.. idk but that smell finds it's way through the vents like a rabbit bat.
