watering schedule (water at PH 7.8 according to website, haven't personally tested):
Monday: pure water
Tuesday: nothing
Wednesday: nutrient water
Thursday: nothing
Friday: pure water
Saturday: nutrient water
Sunday: nothing...and back to Monday...
here are the pictures....
as you can see from the pictures one of the plants is lingering behind, despite it being one week older (they are 3 and 2 weeks old respectively)... this is probably due to the fact I had a heat issue in the cabinet at first and the seedling must have suffered from it. this brings me to my first question, would it be a good idea to use this plant as a "mother" or will any future cutting from it not be worth it?
the second plant seems to be doing a lot better and is sprouting its 4th set of leaves, I was planning on giving it another week and then changing its pot to the final 14L. one (shown in the pic). but I am unsure if its better for me to top it off ASAP and then change its pot in roughly a weeks time, giving the plant time to recover. or if i should simply change the pot and top it the same day...
now I'm also sketching out in terms of space. the distance from floor to top of the screen is roughly 47 cm (18.5") in between that space i have the pot that measures 28cm (11") and the space between the pot and the top of the screen is (7.6"). I think I should be able to comfortably get my hands under the screen for deleafing and what not, but I would appreciate your input regardless...
where I'm most concerned, and you can see this in my last picture, is the space between the top of my screen and the maximum height of my lights. there I have a total space of 22.5cm (8.8") I'm afraid this will be a little tight when the colas grow, and would not want to burn the tips if they reach the light....
the before last picture shows the space between the lights and the screen at the initial stages where ill be LSTing and ill be able to gradually raise the lights to their final position....
finally I was wondering for you scrubber experts if you think my setup will eliminate most of the delicious smell....I do want to keep as low a profile as possible.....
Oh right, also a couple comments on my watering schedule would be much appreciated.....
so there you have it....this is my first little setup I built after some research and I hope things will go smoothly..
regards
Jeff
