I am about to upload pictures of my set up and seedlings please bare with me
Its a 250w cfl blue spectrum, all seeds are female accept one thatscouple things i would like to suggest.
make a piece just like your walls for the top so the light is reflected downward
also get the light closer or they may stretch.
what wattage cfl is that?, depending on how many turn outr to be female you may want to invest in another one, also some smaller cfl for side lighting later may be worth it.
all in all looks like a sweet setup man +rep
Yes i did the same before with my 600w hps and the heat built up inside of the box and roasted the plants so i have been taking it easy so far i know the cfl produces alot less heat but i still want to be sure.Looks like the open side is a door correct? I would either close the door and hang the bulb vertical,
or build a sheet metal reflector/hanger. I would start with a piece of either 4" or 6" ducting (the metal stuff you can buy at home depot, comes open and you close the side to make ducting, dont close it and it makes a great reflector) now figure out how long you want it, add about 3-4 inches to this and cut to length.
Now take and cut alone the excess line (the extra 3-4") about 1/3 of the way in on both sides. Now bend this down in the same direction that the sides of the ducting piece face.
Then cut a hole to stick your bulb socket through, and figure out how to attach to the sheet metal, may be tough but with some carefully considered cuts you can do it am sure of it.
This is answer your question here's the video everyone!Do you have an area for flowering or are you just going to use that little box with your 600w?
Sorry, I'm stupid. You avatar looks like you have a lot of room to deal with. Ever think about sectioning it off with poly plastic and line the walls with poly plastic? You'd get much better light + it would be easier to keep clean.
