Remember to keep the soil fairly moist until they sprout. The seed isn't very deep and the sun can dry the top layer of soil very fast.

At this stage they need PLENTY of water the more the better. Not much nutes right off, keep it under 800 ppm.

ehhh... your right Jim. Only... just make sure that when your giving advice.. like you did here.. which is fine.. I like to help ppl out if I can too. But, just you forgot to tell everyone.. to make sure that they do NOT over water.

So, I'll do it for ya's.

everyone, he is right.. new seedlings do need more water than lets say.. a plant that is further along in the growth process.

The older the plant is into growing.. really.. the less water she'll need.

Happy growing everyone!
Hope this helped... incase some of you happened to accidently over water.. and made your soil into a nice soup!

lol.. dont do that. thats bad.

take care everyone..
peace.

If you planted them deep it's gonna take more time. Don't dig them up, you risk damaging the taproot and that is very bad. Also - I don't know where you're at in the world, but around here, temps are falling - seedlings need to be warm, so make sure your windowsill isn't too cold for them.:leaf:

yo i couldn't get mine to sprout either so i threw a clear plastic tote bin over them, took the humidity up to 90% at least, then they sprouted within 36 hours

Hey grower, first off if you're growing by natural sunlight, keep in mind the process will be slightly slower especially due to it being Autumn and the days are shorter, which is - in nature - Marijuana's flowering season. Also, are the planted seedlings in actual direct sunlight all day long? Or are there obstructions outside that keep the seedlings from getting actual, direct sunlight all day long. To stimulate vegetative growth the plant needs more than 12 hours of light per day. Under fluorescent lighting my seedlings routinely take up to a week to sprout significantly.

And as said before, good moisture maintenance is also key.
