my second grow - what do you think ?

hi there nickledyme, here is a link to the stuff i use. i dont know if you can get it in the US tho mate. i know there is better stuff than this but it works for me and its quite cheap. im pretty sure it will work on all plants inside or out. hope this helps you mate.

I'm gonna go check a fwe places to see if it's carried.I'm thinkin Wal-Mart(since they have everything known to man) and probably a few of the gardening stores we got in the area.I just topped 2 of my plants to see what happens.I was reading in the faqs about super-cropping and figured I try it on 2 of my plants.I'm not sure if u'd get more bud from topping or just keeping my main colas.I'm still very new to this so I'm not tryina cut up every plant just in case I mess up.

im a noob to mate so im not sure, this is only my second grow. i know that if you top a plant you get more growing shoots so i supose you would get more bud but dont quote me on that lol. let me know if you find the tomorite mate.

Aight will do,I'm on my first grow...hell I'm not even sure that when the time comes if I'll be able to sex my plants,even tho I've read an seen more than my share.

looks reallly nice how long do you plan on letting it flower with those plants?

I just got some Epsom Salt tonight,any idea how to use it.I looked for that tomato feed and all i found was the miracle grow brand.Wasn't much difference in nutrients from what I'm already using so I opted out and got the salt instead.

hi nickledyme, i checked out your plants in the gallery and they looking good mate, what size are the pots ? they look like about 2 gallon. the miracle grow would do the same job as the stuff i got i think. as for the epsom salts im going to have to look it up because im not sure about it mate.

hi godsey420, the plant is 3 & half weeks into flower and it said on the site where i got the seeds that they take about 8 weeks to finish so i wont know until then. i'll see how it goes nearer the time as to when i'll harvest her. im thinking about trying to re-generate her after the harvest for a second grow, but that might change.

If your going to feed it too the roots, add two teaspoons with every gallon.

For foliar feeding make the above solution and use 2ml per 100ml to make a foliar spray

My pots are about a gallon...I just transplanted from 2 liter bottles.I'm kinda just using stuff that's kicking around for my pots.A few people say I need to transplant to bigger pots but I think I got a few weeks with these.It's getting harder to find things as the roots get bigger so I'm thinkin on gettin some 2 gallon pots probably the beginning of the month.How big does the root base get??For some reason I didn't think they'd have that much root....how wrong could I be haha
I got the idea of epsom salt from my brother...he said it works really good so I figure it's worth a try u kno.

hi again nickledyme, my plant is in a 2 gallon bucket which it seems ok in & will be there till the end now. the root base if left unrestricted would get quite large if its grown directly in the ground.
here is an update on my plant. its 32" high now and i think its begining to slow down, there are buds everywhere lol. the main cola is tied to the side because it was getting too close to the light. there are no more signs of balls which im glad about.

I don't really wanna grow in the ground as tempting as it maybe cuz if I need to move em I don't wanna be tryina dig up 23 plants that might be 3 feet deep in root.I was repotting some plants today and a damn cop rode by.I saw him b4 he had a chance to see me.Good thing cause I had time to put my plant down where it couldn't be seen from the road.Too damn close if u ask me but anyway my tallest plant is bout 22 inches so far but the rest average about 16 now.Not the biggest but I'd rather have em short and not seen than 3 foot plants that might catch an eye or 2 u know.I've been keeping an eye out for any flowering and so far all I see is lil green hairs.2 on each side of where the stems are growing on all the plants.So I'm still waiting to see what I got,I'm assuming by the end of next month I'll have my answers.

that was lucky mate, the little green hairs that you see are on every plant im not sure what you call them but they dont have anything to do with flowering. what you are looking for starts growing next to them. you will see a little growth which can either be new branches, female or male flowers. females have 2 little wite hairs coming from it, males just look like balls. it will take a few days from when you see them til you will be able to know for definate what it is.

i didnt mean that you should plant them in the ground mate, just that the bigger the pot the more root mass you will have, in turn your plants should be healthier and stronger.

The next time I transplant which I'm hoping ain't for a couple weeks,I'm gonna gather up all the 5 gallon buckets we got floating around here and I'm gonna cut em in half.I'm thinking that might be good enough to finish with.I just ain't got the money for all the soil I'll need for that right now.So,I'm just putting them in something a lil bigger for now till I get some more cash cause I have this feeling I'm gonna be spending about 30 or 40 bucks on soil alone the next time around.The soil I'm using has no perlite in it,does that matter.It's just straight up organic soil...I add my own nutes.

hi nickledyme, the soil i use doesnt have any perlite init or anything else.. its just plain potting soil i use. i started to give nutes when it was 4 weeks old and do so every second watering. i just measured the plant again and its grown 2" since yesterday, its now 34" tall.

The new soil I'm using ain't got any perlite either kinda like your it's just plain soil.I found bigger bags of the same soil at a different Wal-Mart last night.40lbs for less than 2 bucks so I grabbed 2 bags.I've used over 100lbs so far and I'm gonna have to transplant some of them again before I'm done.I did find a few 2 or 3 gallon pots kickin around so I used those.Fuckin cops were tryin 2 watch me again this morn but from where they were u can't see shit.I've already gone out to the main road to test that theory and all u see is the tall grass.That Epsom Salt is working miracles tho my braches have doubled in both size and width almost overnight.Those topped plants look to be making about 5 new shoots a piece but it hasn't been that long so I'll wait a few more days and I'll know for sure.I think one plant is starting to flower but not sure.I noticed it yesterday...I'll let u know on that.In other news I almost killed my self and my gf last night on a 4 wheeler.Kinda took too sharp of a turn and we both flew off.Almost had the damn thing land on me.I'm never driving one of those at night again....especially after drinking even 3 beers.

im a biker mate so i always say 2 wheels are better than 4, even quads. glad to hear your both ok.
