ummm how many hours of light a day....

you do realise its the ligt that allows them t fill out as well as nutes ehy by the sounds of it they getting under 4 hours a day. this could have been avoidable then if they werent allowed to stretch so much bro. though ur doingit now so lets see what happens lol. i think the end result wont be as impressive as what could have been :). bnut hehe its all a learning curve aint it

They on 2 and a half hours light a day, half hour light every 4 hours dark.

They also only on water, no nutes!

I know it aint good, but I F'ed up and they are stuck with 6" headroom to grow and 5-6 weeks before they can move home! I need MAX 1" growth a week, lol

I dont realy care that much about end results as this grow is just a learnin curve and im moving to NASA style hydro soon, this is more to test some stuff and get used to the plants and how they look/grow/feed etc.

My "real" aim is to get just under 1kg every 8 weeks out of a 1m2 tent and 600w HPS, pushing the boundrys beyond what's thought possible. (please dont take piss, got some magic things comming soon, lol)

I plan to attempt this "ridiculous" feat using an oil cooled dual spectrum HPS on mover, Co2, 50 micron 1500psi drain to waste aeroponics and an auto controled enviroment with max 5% shift from ideal room temp/root temp/RH/Co2.

The strain will be cronic from serious seed, going to order 50 fem seeds and take 1 biggest yielding plant for the mum.

This will be my "real" learning curve, lol

Comming soon to RIU for all your comments!

So got some pics to show, this grow is more about testing pot size than results.(sorry 4 bad pics, they of a digi camcorder)

Cheese in a 1L pot, FAR to small lots of stretch and looks sickly,

Skunk #1 in a 2L pot, still to small for good growth tied down a little,

Skunk #1 in a 3L pot, about the smallest pot that works ok,

Skunk #1 in a 3L pot, tied down to get 2 main shoots,

Skunk #1 in a 7L pot, tied down to get 2 main shoots,

Cheese in a 7L pot, bottom abused for clones and topped,

Cheese clones double potted in 4 x carrier bags with about 15L soil each, (got 2 lots like this)

Pic's of em all together,

A close up of a skunk #1,

Pic of my setup at top of tent, (a fan is inside box filled with expanding foam)

My conclusion is ya need BIG space for roots to grow absolute MINIMUM I recomend is 3L!

Hope ya like em!

lookin good nice idea with the fan i'm likeing that
It was just an idea I had. It dont realy make that much difrence though, the elastic bands from tent pegs that hold it up work better at killing noise. thats why I didnt do my 2nd fan.
