ok i think i found the right place to post this. so like the title reads i killed my first batch of girls during the seedling phase. i thought that i did everything by the "textbook" but obviously not lol. i am really excited about this plus i spent about 2000 bucks on a really nice system (ebb & grow) with really a really nice 600 watt mh/hps light with a lumatek digital ballast. i have a complete huboldt nutrients setup (both salt based and organic) so basicly i need some really good advice on how to grow the best i can and do it everytime i grow. so yea im kind of a noob but any advice will do!

Yeah man, nice setup. Get that light closer to your babies... there stretching already. What happened to your last ones? And you said humbolt nutes... is that the organic roots? Well, I'd say just go easy on the nutes at first. Do you have them under florescents right now?

i think i may have been a lil vauge in the last post but i think that i killed my last batch by either adding nutes too early or maybe the light was too close? anywho all of pics from the last grow are still on my album. im worried i might kill this batch too!

If it's not to warm put it about 2 inches away from the top of your babies. Just stick your hand under the light...and judge it for yourself. =D

ok well i just started using the sure to grow cubes and what i did was i place the seeds in water so they can "pop" quicker then after they popped i placed them in the old paper towel method for about a day, waited for the tails to get a little longer. and then yesterday morning i placed them (root facing down of course!) into the sure to grow media about less than an inch deep. im only spritzing the cubes with tap water at the moment making sure the seeds dont dry up and die...how long untill i should expect the seedlings to pop out?
