yeah thanks, just posted over there too, heres a pic of temp, the 93 high was cause the pipe fell off the fan, which will all be fixed soon, and it is only mid bag seed so not really that worried but wanna get it right. ph is at 6.0, i have to make it right from the tap, about 8.0, ive been checking it every couple days when i top off, which is what happened, i screwed up, LoL, thanks again man

if you're using water straight from the tap a cheap brita or pur filter will help your pH as well as get some of the "junk" out of your res. My brita drops my water pH from 8.7 down to 6.5 (roughly ) as well removes some of the ppm so that i can replace that with nutrients. Also keeping your water in an open container for 24 hours before using it, it will evaporate the chlorine and/or (more likely) the chloramines used to treat the water.

Keep it up man, they don't took bad given a 93 degree high.

I got my fans today and some pvc fittings from home depot, the plan would have worked great, but my old DC power source doesn't seem to work, figures, LoL. So, once again I am still on standby. My plants are doing ok I guess, still hanging in there, more later, Out

well day 13 and 1 of the plants didn't make it. the water level got to low. I've been working on the race cars lately and with work its been hard to keep up with everything. theres the little 1 thats left, it looks ok, but i dont know if i should keep it going or just plant it out in the woods somewhere because come feb 5th, i will be gone for 9 days racing over at new smyrna speedweeks so im gonna just shut it down for now.

when i get back, i think i will just start over then. in the mean time, i will get the ghetto U-Haul grow box ready for the new crop with all the new stuff i have, LoL. heres a couple pics of the fans and the hood vent, all seems to work pretty good. also i have updated the album again.

Sorry to hear its not working out too well for you :\ But those soil less grows are hard. Try going back to a soil grow first

yeah, but i never grew in soil either, LoL.

a few years ago, a guy i worked for had a 10' x12' grow room that he did 24 plants in with an ebb & flow system, man that shit was crazy, i would shake like a M.F. every day i went to work and had to wait in his place, you could smell it walkin up the stairs outside, LoL. havent seen him in a few years, but man that stuff mad crazy bud, the best i have ever smoked. we would smoke like 2 or 3 joints before work, we installed carpet, and then still knock out a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment in a couple hours, dam, those were the days, LMAO, Out

day 14, the little 1 is still hangin in there, looks ok, heres a couple pics. Out

day 15: so i decided to keep growin the little 1, i changed to a small cheeze puff bucket and turned out 2 of the blubs. i switched the rock wool cube from the sponge to 1 of the 3" net pots and hydroton, and setup my dripper again. i installed an on/off valve in the line and all i have to do to top off for now is open the valve and let gravity do its thing and then turn it off, seems to work pretty good.

i made a new batch of nutes and ph'ed it and all looks good. i know this thing isnt as big as it should be for 2 weeks old, but i cant give up now, maybe i'll just make it a bonsai plant, LoL. heres some pics, thats all for now, Out

day 19 and little 1 has really stared to come alive, leaves are greener and standing up better, hang in there little 1, you can make it, LoL

the setup is lookin real good man!
love the effort and that little guys green he'll be just fine.

you might have mentioned but whats your total light output in there and what spectrum more curious then anyting

thanks man, im running 4 bulbs right now, 1 6500k and 3 2700k for a total of 6400 lumens since theres only the 1 plant, but the total with 6 is 9600 with a 5 to 1 ratio, which ill turn back on when it gets a little bigger. total for the whole light with bulbs was $37.

im not using the rubbermaid tub yet, well, because theres only the little 1 in there now, but when i do, it will hold 4 plants. heres the new walmart ocillating fan i got for $9, works pretty good so far.

well its day 21 and little 1 didnt make it. i dont know what happened??? it was doin fine and i left at 6 AM sunday morning to go to N.C. to pick up a dog and got back this morning at 3:30 AM and this is what i found, this really sucks!!! so now i will shut it down until i get back from speedweeks feb 11th. until then, i will just keep watchin everyones grows and keep dreamin, LoL. LoL, yeah thanks, the story of my life. i will try again, i dont give up easily. the dog is a good one for sure, cant wait for his first race. Out

so we left friday morning to go to speedweeks at new symrna to race 6 of the 9 nights there, i was suppose to stay till weds night but im home, sure wasnt the plan but just the way shit goes, friday rained out for the first night, so it was off to winghouse in daytona. then back to the track to smoke and drink some more beer, end of the night so me and my driver go to the store across the street for some quick chocolate milk and donuts to end the night and head back to the toterhome. on the way back in the golf cart, driver decides to make 1 more trip on to the track and hangs a hard left at about 30 mph and throws me out of the golf cart, well the out come is 1 fractured left hip so im like done for a while, spent all day saturday in the toterhome in a hell of a lot of pain, which is still here and will be for a while, im not going to the hospital because all i would do there is lay in bed there like here at home and owe a shit load of medical bills cause no insurance. also driver goes to qualify on saturday, qualifies 5th and the motor blows crossing the finish line. so we came home last night, thank god cause i would have never made it till thurs laying in that toterhome for 5 more days with 7 people jammed in it. they propped me up on a hand dolly roll me to the truck. so that brings me to the grow which for sure isnt gonna happen for a while now, but ill still be here watching and learning, LoL. if it wasnt for bad luck, i wouldnt have any at all, the story of my life. Bummer brother... Well, I sincerely hope that when you decide to give growing another shot, everything will work out for you. You had the oddest most random problems, here and there, but I didn't think they'd die... So sorry to hear it.
