My plants seem really small for 2 weeks.

Well my plants seem incredible small for 2 weeks since sprouting. They both have some burnt leaves but im not sure why. I recently added a small fan blowing over them. Sometimes the temperature can get above 80 maybe 85 and no lower the 70 I need to add an exhaust and intake to correct this I believe. I am using FFOF soil and I water only when the soil is dry with tap water that has been sitting out for a few days and no nutes. Thats all I can really think of right now, any help is much appreciated.

we need a bunch of information about your setup to diagnose the right problem. It seems like you dont water enough, but I wont really know till you tell me your feeding schedules. Temps, lights, type of medium, ph, all that jazz will be very helpful with the ruling.

how many and what type of lights are you using. i use 27 watt 6500k and 42 watt 2700k on my plants. 4 of each. 6500k lights are the best for growth in the veg stage. 2700K is better for flowering but a combo works nice. Also i would start adding half strenght 20-20-20 fertilizer to your plants. it will help promote stem, root, and leaf growth. give it to them once a week till they get stronger

Ok im using 4 23 watt bulbs 2 of each spectrum and 1 42 watt daylight ive been fiddling with the height alot but right now they are probable 2 1/2 inches away and they are on 24/0. There is no set feeding schedule its basicily 48-60 hours when the soil drys out. There are drainage holes at bottom to, and i am unable to test the ph im still waiting on my ph tester. I dont think i frgot anything and please bear with my responses im on my phone at work.

the temps go anywhere from 72-85 and im also waiting kn my hygro/temp meter and im using foz farm ocean forest.

your plants are getting fried, probably because you are watering too often, or the soil is just too hot for the seedlings. You need to pH your water as well.

temp?humidity?fan?any type of light reflection like mylar or foil? are lights just above the plants or covering all sides?

maybe try an 18/6 light cycle. ive heard its good to give it a night b/c it replicates the long daze of summer

They were both started using the paper towel method and planted a qtr a inch in. I forgot to mention that on monday both plants were knocked over. The new growth from both does look nice and green though.

its really hard to say whats wrong. i had the same problem with my plants in november when i planted them. the were such tiny things for a month until i upgraded my lights from LED to CFLs. Now its been a month since the change and they are lookin good. LEDs suck by the way...never use them. anyway i dont know what to say. i hope your plants work out. just keep on researching. its what ive been doing and i finally am on the right track, although it took a while. good luck!

The first set of fan leaves were crispy on one there isnt any reflective material yet either. There is a small fan blowing over them to.
